My mom is finally home from the hospital. We’re not out of the woods yet, but she is doing well and hopefully I’ve made her as comfortable as I can given her circumstances. I feel like I could sleep for a month.

Such a busy week ahead. Mom may finally be going home. Tons of meetings even with the looming layoff. Yesterday I had another bed rotting day, I’ve had 3 this month alone :( I need to be better.

I have been under an inordinate amount of stress lately with the potential for a layoff due to this bullshit administration and my mother breaking her hip. I’ve been the only child to step up and assist for the third time they’ve had an emergency. I’m spent. I feel like I’m losing grip on reality.

It’s noon. Haven’t been able to get out of bed yet today. I need to clean my house and visit my mom in the hospital still. But I also might bring my camera out of the closet. I feel like I’m inching closer to some sort of creative expression….i don’t know why it’s so hard. Anyway, 2022 work.

I’m trying to curb useless spending but I cannot tell you how much I want 32oz of premade iced jasmine tea, hand poured into a cup that is no doubt leaking microplastics into my brain by a 20 year old girl who I believe hates me. My body screams for water. I only think of tea.
