Also co-led an FC hunt train today. We killed every A-rank (that wasn't already dead) from ARR through ShB on Golem. It feels good to be leading content again, ngl.

Who would win, one roegadyn-turned-primal, or 24 absolute nerds and their fairies?

A bunch of Scholars standing on the steps at the end of Delubrum Reginae, the classic clear photo. Lots of Eos, Selene, and Carbuncle are all around the picture.

A party Finder listing for "Oops, all Scholar!" It's a 24-player run of Delubrum Reginae with all 24 players playing Scholar.

LRP: Estinien was a character I didn’t hate but didn’t really care about, until 6.1. 6.1 rocketed him immediately to being one of my favorite characters.

Given that 7.0 was being made during or shortly after the acute phase of Covid (which we know because of some of the VA issues), do you think this was on the writers’ minds when writing 7.1 through 7.3? Because it rhymes a bit.

Ranked CC is completely dead. I've had people tell me "You can't wait until too late in the season to queue, everyone's already done." Well, apparently "just over two weeks into a four-month season" is already too late.

Woke up at 7am this morning for an omnifarm in Bozjan Southern Front. Got to make a cute purple glam for a job I never play (terrible shot, I know), and got a decent amount of loot

A way-too-zoomed-out shot of Oryn as a Dancer, wearing an outfit colored complimenting shades of deep purple and lavender.

A few thousand Bozja fragments, a few hundred members, 100 bronze coins, two mounts, two parasols, three emotes, and half a dozen orchestrion rolls.

yoo, p sure that's a new record for me! 6 kills as solo-SCH is a lot. SCH is an assist machine but doesn't kill-confirm well. Most total damage of anyone on the team too,

Me finishing a Frontline game with 6 kills, 6 deaths, and 26 assists, with 1,075,322 total damage dealt.

Mentor Roulette specifically can roll anything at all except current-expac extremes, savage raids, ultimate raids, and Coils of Bahamut (normal or savage). It’s the only rolo that can roll extremes.

Also, apparently if you 90k in Frontline while you have BH5, you load back in with zero BH. I played the game of my life today. 3 outright kills and 36 assists. (And 3 outright kills is pretty good for Scholar.) Still finished at BH0. Feels really bad.

Oryn Eyltanath @maidenofletters.etheirys.social · 13/09/2026

Unlikely any of them will see it, but just in case: Congrats to the five first-timers in that Puppet’s Bunker a few minutes ago! Ignore the haters. That is a *tough* raid, and tbch we did perfectly fine for having >20% of the raid being fresh. Even I misplayed several times and I “knew” the raid!

I figure Oryn probably doesn’t know her exact age. Her nameday was probably chosen arbitrarily, and if forced to declare her age she probably guesses a few years older than she actually is. But if not forced she probably says truthfully that she doesn’t know.

As a player, I’m terrible with many of these jobs. I got them all to 100 but I wouldn’t play them in any sort of serious content.

000 0

Oryn Eyltanath @maidenofletters.etheirys.social · 11/09/2026

It’s definitely not going to be a canon job for Oryn, but this has gotten me thinking about actually making a list of what her canon jobs even are. She’s a Scholar main, but other than that the other three healers are probably also canon. No tanks are. For DPS…Bard, Ninja, Machinist, Red, or Blue?
