Use reference. I’m serious. I get it that somehow you or someone convinced you that using reference is “cheating.” It’s not. You are just hindering yourself.

The most devastating part of perfectionism is that it doesn't even make anything you do any closer to being "perfect"

Height differences can be tricky #CriticalRole #CriticalRoleFanart

A digitally illustrated 3 panel comic of Dorian Storm and Orym from Critical Role. In the first panel Dorian is standing with a hand on his hip, looking off to the left. Orym is next to him, looking up and saying "Dorian?". In the second panel Dorian has turned to look at Orym with a question mark next to his head. Orym continues "Could you come down here?". In the third panel Dorian has crouched down to Orym's level and Orym is kissing him. Text above their heads reads "mwah!"

Quoting "SoftestSapphic" from Reddit: "The current patriarchy sees non-binary people as a threat to their heirachies. If the line between man and woman gets blurred then we start questioning why we aren’t all actually equal, and that leads to us removing them from power."

Union strikes need to be approved by a majority vote within unions. They might be working on that right now. This statement is to show the public whats happening, bc public pressure works better than anything since most companies care only about their customers money.

Been thinking on the use of GenAi for mood boards. Ethics and legal risks aside, I truly believe using GenAi as references deprives one of many pivotal things. Here’s a blurb on what I mean:

Some thoughts:
When using GenAi as a mood board you don't get sources. This means you deprive yourself from knowledge.
You generated a location? You deprived yourself of knowing more about the interesting parts of the world and why things came to be.
Generate an armor or costume? You deprived yourself on real world techniques, function, form and history.
You generated art inspirations? You deprive yourself of learning about artists from history or lock out living ones from potentially being hired.
Ethical issues of using GenAi models aside, one ends up making visuals mood boards devoid of reality and history. With it one deprives themselves from learning about our world and who is living in it, inadvertently making your work weaker, because of how detached it is from our shared human reality and history.

Millions of Americans may not receive their mail ballots in time, or at all, because of a secretive, court-defying system being rushed into place by the Trump administration. Two months before the midterms. This isn't by chance. It's a blatant attempt to steal an election. Share this everywhere.

I thought about making Altean Lance's hair white bc thats a headcanon for a lot of fanart, but idk, i just dont prefer it. Esp since I don't really headcanon Lance being Allura's sibling in AU's.
