I played and beat No More Heroes 1 and 2 on the Wii many years ago. I think it's about time I played the third. No More Heroes III www.twitch.tv/magnedeth

Can people stop drawing female Draco Malfoy art, and go back to drawing Petra Parker? Hell, genderbend any character you want as long as it isn't from the franchise of a virulent transphobe and overall terrible person. Just generally stop giving that bitch any attention whatsoever.

Late to the bandwagon, because I wasn't going to do it, but I changed my mind. Here's the 9 games that have influenced me the most in my life. Not necessarily my top 9 favorite (although I do love 8 of these games).

1. Zelda: Link's Awakening
2. NASCAR Racing 2
3. Pokémon Blue
4. Grand Theft Auto 2
5. Carmageddon 2
6. Goldeneye 007
7. Gran Turismo 3
8. Half-Life 2
9. VRChat

Damn, Dunedin was the other one that was on the tip of my tongue. Also sadly, I remember Christchurch because of that terrible earthquake some years ago.

I'm a big fan of geography, but disappointingly, all I can think of are Auckland, Christchurch, and Wellington.

Sadly, no Persona Pthursday with Zachmo today. But you can go watch @honeyoni.bsky.social play Majora's Mask.

Link's Awakening Switch remake took me 6 hours to beat two years ago. Tonight, Link's Awakening DX took... 4 hours. Not a speed run and I did get some optional items. But still an incredible game. Still holds up. Love it, will always love it. Deathless both times, by the way. True ending.

Two years ago on my birthday, I beat one of my all-time favorite games The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. But I played the Switch remake. I wanted to try again this year with the Game Boy version and see if I could do it faster, but I didn't get to. So I'll do it tonight. www.twitch.tv/magnedeth

Streaming in 4 hours, or at least that's the plan. There's a reasonable chance that my stream might start late tonight. And I don't even know what I'm going to play.

I will also point out that of the plethora of fast food I've had across the country, Dick's is easily in the top quarter. Reasonably priced, very tasty, excellent fries. bsky.app/profile/theg...

I started the pre-download for Ace Combat 8 and it’s 138-ish GB, game companies I don’t think to noticed but there’s a chip shortage causing storage to be EXPENSIVE right now. Please optimize and compress the game files

I am not ashamed to say I've been fired from two jobs because I wouldn't let myself get stepped on.

MAGNEDETH @magnedeth.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

I'm still thinking about it, though. The man representing me was born into wealth, has a net worth of over $45 million, and uses his political power to inside trade while the majority of us sit within lower and middle class. It doesn't sit well with me and bitching about it won't change anything.

MAGNEDETH @magnedeth.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

I am not a man that lets money control him. So I would have no problem denying bribes. But the problem is that the system is so fucked that you pretty much have to be rich to be a politician. And if you aren't, you will simply be bought out of the game by your opponents. Pretty demoralizing.

MAGNEDETH @magnedeth.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

The current state of politics is so fucked that I actually started looking into political office myself. I found out that my District Representative is deeply corrupt. But in doing research, it seems you have to be willing to accept a little corruption yourself to have any chance of succeeding.

100%. For those unfamiliar, Van Halen had a line in their rider that essentially said “no brown M&Ms.” It was a way to see if the promoter had actually read the contract. They had a shitload of gear to tour with, so if they’re skipping one thing, it’s guaranteed they’re skipping something essential.

I think the obsession over "never forget" is a bit overblown. And I've laughed at my fare share of jokes. But I'll say this; I do remember. I remember where I was. I remember what I was doing. I remember the people I was with. I remember the overwhelmingly solemn mood. And I won't ever forget.
