Sadly, no Persona Pthursday with Zachmo today. But you can go watch @honeyoni.bsky.social play Majora's Mask.

Two years ago on my birthday, I beat one of my all-time favorite games The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. But I played the Switch remake. I wanted to try again this year with the Game Boy version and see if I could do it faster, but I didn't get to. So I'll do it tonight. www.twitch.tv/magnedeth

Streaming in 4 hours, or at least that's the plan. There's a reasonable chance that my stream might start late tonight. And I don't even know what I'm going to play.

I will also point out that of the plethora of fast food I've had across the country, Dick's is easily in the top quarter. Reasonably priced, very tasty, excellent fries. bsky.app/profile/theg...

The current state of politics is so fucked that I actually started looking into political office myself. I found out that my District Representative is deeply corrupt. But in doing research, it seems you have to be willing to accept a little corruption yourself to have any chance of succeeding.

If you are driving and find yourself in the wrong lane Do not: * cut people off to get the lane you want * stop in the lane to think Do: * maintain speed and position * accept your mistake and reroute accordingly In the future: * pay more attention to signage * be aware of your route ahead of time

100%. For those unfamiliar, Van Halen had a line in their rider that essentially said “no brown M&Ms.” It was a way to see if the promoter had actually read the contract. They had a shitload of gear to tour with, so if they’re skipping one thing, it’s guaranteed they’re skipping something essential.

I think the obsession over "never forget" is a bit overblown. And I've laughed at my fare share of jokes. But I'll say this; I do remember. I remember where I was. I remember what I was doing. I remember the people I was with. I remember the overwhelmingly solemn mood. And I won't ever forget.

Other than the child models, I actually think the Ocarina of Time remake looks pretty good. There is a lot of whimsy in the graphics. It actually has that "what we thought it looked like back in the day" vibes. And as someone who grew up with the 64 version, I speak from experience.

Underneath it says in parentheses, also known as mom.

As a long time GTA fan (since GTA2), I have to say that the GTA6 extended look shows off what could be an incredible game. It also shows off too much. I think myself, and other GTA fans, would have much preferred a 2-3 minute trailer a few times a year over a single 30 minute gameplay supercut.

If the HOA has a problem with it, they can talk to me by finding the right tongue to push in the room of gargoyles, choose to climb up or down the mine shaft, find the secret switch in the trees of the swamp, and ring my doorbell by assembling the silver monkey. Hope they can avoid my temple guards.
