Human Centipede. The first one is a tense, psychological body horror movie that got a lot of shit (pun intended) because the premise was so repulsive, which it used to good effect. The second one was whatever the fuck that was.

I played Diablo 1&2 for years each. I was stop playing D2 when D3 came out. D3 was rough at release but got pretty good. I hate D4. I have no expectations I will like D5. They are going in a direction I don't enjoy. If it takes longer than 10 minutes to respec, I'm out.

It was an imperfect movie, but I'm not sure a modern remake would fix the bad parts and keep the good ones. I wouldn't mind an attempt but I can't promise I'd see it. My biggest problem is how utterly uninteresting The Beast is as a villain. Fix only that and it's a perfect film IMO.

I love this movie. Yes, it's weird and off putting ... and I think that's what I like about it. Every time it starts to feel comfortable, it goes in a different direction and puts you off kilter again. The ending is a bit whatever. Eh. Also it was my introduction to Geoffrey Rush, whom I adore.

I've only started using them since LLMs popularized them. You can safely use emdash — but avoid saying, "it's not punctuation, it's a statement." Pointless negation as a rhetorical flourish has been murdered. Every time I read them — "that's AI."

We were over at a friend's. I'd have been about eight. My folks were drinking and playing euchre in the next room while I watched Star Trek TMP on HBO and tried not to fall asleep. Somehow I succeeded, and after it was over, The Blue Lagoon came on. It was a life changing experience.

I have thirty years of experience. I've done temporary stints as team lead here and there for various reasons. I was hired in as technical lead for the first time <1 year ago. I had a conversation with a tech lead with 3 (!) years of total IT experience and I was like... that's a hell of a thing.

My wife made me breakfast for Father's Day. Doubly impressive because she hates Bloody Marys and couldn't even taste it to see if it was good. It's perfect! I also got this great t-shirt from the kids that sums up my summers.

Velocipastor was pretty bad. TRoS is objectively a better movie. Yet, below a point it doesn't have to be the literal worst to not be worth watching. TRoS definitely fails that bar for me. I'm glad for anyone who genuinely enjoys it because loving Star Wars is awesome. But I do not love TRoS at all.
