I wish more people could watch and appreciate the movie C.H.U.D. and its message. Daniel Stern’s performance is outstanding and the main characters (all 4) have their own agency and try their damndest to help the homeless and fight the government corruption. The monster design is also very very fun.

Look what arrived in the mail today thanks to @catmintstudios.bsky.social ! They're perfect! So glad I backed their project!

Raccoon snack-themed pin, keychain and sticker; one for potting soil. One for enamel pin for Swedish fish candy, the other a cheeky raccoon in potting soil. Two of my toes on my right foot are bendy without pain AND I think I might be able to feel the temperature of the floor! SUPER WIN!! I've been working a LOT on the paresthesia in my foot (& elsewhere). It's been 7 months since the right side paresthesia and 10 for my lumbar bulges etc. Keep going 🦋

Pushed it exercising at the wellness swim today! My reward was going to Chapters and nabbing a Halloween cross stitch magazine with patterns! There is a ghost under the sea swirling pattern called Spirula that sold me alongside others! Plus I had $5 off so let's gooo!

Really disappointed that I can't go to TCAF this year. With my current health and accessibility issues via Toronto, it's just a logistical nightmare. It was enough having a random new health scare in town - if we were in downtown TO I don't know what we'd do. I hope it's awesome for everyone ❤️

Last Sat was eventful: started the day at the anti-Dougie-Ford protest (rollator is fab for resting a sign on!), then local riverside cafe to draw and nosh.. then another health incident ruining the cafe time. Definitely a full day. Got to draw some trees, plants and cartoon star-nosed moles 💖

Local Farmers Market first day outside was great to visit today. Got to see friends, pet cute rats and nab delicious food. Then to the Library for renewed cards, signed out comics/manga and visited the zine fest there too. All in all worth the incredible soreness after ❤️

Got to break in the 2 in 1 rollator with my husband at the anti-Doug-Ford protest today! A good turn out of fellow protesters with lots of honks from cars in support and news crew there too. Nice people and conversations about the issues. Was great to finally be outside since December. #protest

Looking at fude pens, synthetic sable brushes and watching old Project Runway episodes - these things keep my mind off of other things. It's been over a month now with right side paraesthesia in my upper arm, thigh and foot with no change; art is an excellent distraction, as well as comics & crochet
