Maggie @maggilb.bsky.social · 10/10/2026At the Tolbooth in Stirling for some Saturday night tunes 010
Maggie @maggilb.bsky.social · 10/10/2026Cracking this beauty open - (I've already listened a couple of times to the digital version) Getting a sense of travelling through something - physically moving but also shuffling through my head with no clear thoughts - strangely soothing. shadowworldarchive.bandcamp.com/album/skalla 121
Maggie @maggilb.bsky.social · 09/10/2026Maybe I am influenced by typography - this is a standard French label that I feel I can trust so if I'm rushing I grab this kind of thing. Better not be boggin. 110
Maggie @maggilb.bsky.social · 07/10/2026Very occasionally I abandon the Ochils and sit on the other side of the train. Bonnie day. 010
Maggie @maggilb.bsky.social · 07/10/2026Frank's 'come play with me, I'll be very gentle' face ... the bleeding stopped quite quickly 😭 010
Maggie @maggilb.bsky.social · 03/10/2026Stealing another 5 minutes of snuggles with my wee spud - I'm too tired to go to work 😭 010
Maggie @maggilb.bsky.social · 02/10/2026I had hope for 'a generous allocation of held over summer light ...' (@graemethomsonbskysocial) but nae chance. First listen to the released tracks on the train home & that worked just fine - beautiful stuff. Very excited to hear the rest of the album next month. 231
Maggie @maggilb.bsky.social · 30/09/2026The UK Aids Memorial Quilt at the Tramway - incredibly beautiful, moving and very very necessary. So much love in each panel. 040
Maggie @maggilb.bsky.social · 29/09/202616 year old me loved this album - some of it feels quite meh now but listening to the first 4 tracks was kind of nice - memories. In 1977 I was more into prog & disco ... but, like now, I'd try any music. My name is all over my copy - we did a lot of swapping music with pals back then. 010
Maggie @maggilb.bsky.social · 23/09/2026Found this wee beastie. There's some questionable music on it but also photos that I thought were lost including these of Frank's predecessor - Joe Mitten. Hope I can get it talking to my laptop - not sure I've got the energy for more tech woes tonight after battling my printer earlier. 040
Maggie @maggilb.bsky.social · 18/09/202612 years! So many things have changed. Would be great to be pinning this on and campaigning for Indy again and having those conversations with newer voters. 011
Maggie @maggilb.bsky.social · 14/09/2026I first heard Malin Lewis play at this year's Stirling Pride and ordered their album and it was waiting for me when I got back at the weekend. What a beautiful thing it is - highly recommend if you enjoy a bit of Scottish folk/trad. 000
Maggie @maggilb.bsky.social · 13/09/2026Feeling quite emotional after finally seeing Simple Minds live - and in my hometown of Stirling I Travel, Someone Somewhere (In Summertime) & Belfast Child - all made me very happy ❤️ Now spending the night on the weans couch 030
Maggie @maggilb.bsky.social · 13/09/2026The youngest wean bought me a ticket for this but I've only just arrived and unfortunately missed level42 😎. The field is full of middle aged folk having a wee bevvie and partying. I'm only here to see Simple Minds. Nice sheep in the fields at the back. 131
Maggie @maggilb.bsky.social · 12/09/2026Home from a wonderful trip to Barcelona - I will post photos on Instagram but these are a few faves. 020
Maggie @maggilb.bsky.social · 08/09/2026I am not happy in the heat but Barcelona is beautiful - especially when you're dangling above it. I prayed for rain and it's to arrive later and I will be very grateful. ☂️ 030
Maggie @maggilb.bsky.social · 06/09/2026Just watched Little Miss Sunshine for the umpteenth time but not since around 2012. It was a favourite with a woman that I supported in a service I used to work in and she'd watch it at least once every couple of months - I was there over 5 years! Bloody love it. 010
Maggie @maggilb.bsky.social · 05/09/2026The superb John Bramwell at the Tolbooth in Stirling tonight rounding off my week of 3 home town gigs - I think that's a first for me! 120
Maggie @maggilb.bsky.social · 04/09/2026Fell asleep sitting upright for 3 hours there and now my neck's gubbed - thankfully no more sleepovers until 16th. I know getting paid to sleep at work sounds like a cushy number but there's often not a lot of sleep involved. First tunes of the day. (a wee purchase at Wednesday's gig) 110
Maggie @maggilb.bsky.social · 02/09/2026What a mingin night it is out so I'm grateful I didn't have to drive far to get home. Fabulous night of beautiful music at the Tolbooth with @mjohnhenry.bsky.social, Meursault & Adam Stafford. (I was especially happy that wee dolly the cat got a mention) 011
Maggie @maggilb.bsky.social · 02/09/20262nd gig of the week in Stirling. Looking good - apart from the weather 🌨️ 000
Maggie @maggilb.bsky.social · 01/09/20261st of 3 gigs this week - although this was supposed to be 'open practice' but we're calling it a gig! Great to hear some old & new songs from @constantfollower.bsky.social in their fab new studio space in Stirling. And look at the pretty chimneys on the top of the Wolfcraig building! 121
Maggie @maggilb.bsky.social · 29/08/2026Well done to the organisers of @stirlingpride.bsky.social - what a fabulous day 020
Maggie @maggilb.bsky.social · 28/08/2026I didn't realise Monday is a bank holiday until I peeked into my bank to see how close to the edge I am for the weekend - & we've been paid. Glory be! Celebrating with these two wonders 010
Maggie @maggilb.bsky.social · 28/08/2026Frank's automatic feeder didn't open last night and I'm being shunned - no amount of dreamies is going to fix this anytime soon 😔 010
Maggie @maggilb.bsky.social · 24/08/2026Managed a couple of hours in the garden today. I've had very little time for it this year so it just does its thing. 020
Maggie @maggilb.bsky.social · 24/08/2026Only just got home from Ingliston - mayhem in the carpark (partly caused by me not being able to find my car). How is Robert Smith's voice still so fabulous? So many highlights - by that I mean all of it. I'm going to have a wee Bowmore now 🥃 #thecure 030
Maggie @maggilb.bsky.social · 20/08/2026Stop scrolling and post two characters who make you happy. 020
Maggie @maggilb.bsky.social · 15/08/2026So glad I went to the unity march in Falkirk today. After the awfulness of last night's news about Jason Arday it was comforting to be with good people. Fabulous speeches either end of a joyful match filled my heart. (and I got a lot of doggie cuddles too) 030
Maggie @maggilb.bsky.social · 14/08/2026Trying to inject some energy into my day Grand Opening and Closing 000
Maggie @maggilb.bsky.social · 12/08/2026Didn't even last an hour of newsletter deliveries there - you could wring me out 🥵 The sky isn't looking hopeful for the sun either. 000
Maggie @maggilb.bsky.social · 09/08/2026Summer newsletter time again for #stirlingandclacksgreens I like mine double-folded so using my post work exhaustion hours to prep for delivery 💚 - there's coffee involved. 020
Maggie @maggilb.bsky.social · 06/08/2026Perfect walking weather today so hoofed it from Helensburgh to Balloch with the wean. 130
Maggie @maggilb.bsky.social · 05/08/2026Tuesday night cello tunes joquail.bandcamp.com/album/notan 000
Maggie @maggilb.bsky.social · 05/08/2026Having one of those late nights when you become all maudling and the only solution is Michael Stipe and a bottle of Aussie Shiraz. Watching that Perfect Square show from '03 for the 9 millionth time. 010
Maggie @maggilb.bsky.social · 04/08/2026Afternoon tunes. It's been a kind of fragmented /rushing about kind of Tuesday - with lulls. 010
Maggie @maggilb.bsky.social · 01/08/2026We have a duck race here every year - if that's your thing 🦆 031
Maggie @maggilb.bsky.social · 31/07/2026I don't think it's ever been played. I didn't buy this until a few years after release and I already had the songs on compilations a friend made. It still has the card to join the shifty disco singles club ... the forerunner of dating apps? 😸 000
Maggie @maggilb.bsky.social · 31/07/2026Cemetery visit for what would have been my mother's 98th bd today. Always starts off somber but by the time my sister has given the stone a clean with her pre-dampened micro-cloth we lapse into irreverent humour. Anyway, my dad always said they'd picked a plot with a view ... & the clouds obliged. 020
Maggie @maggilb.bsky.social · 27/07/2026Have slipped into a really bad habit of listening to political podcasts /shows in the morning and not my usual music and it's been really bad for my MH. Kicking against it this morning with some tunes 010
