Went to the cloisters today to see by boy Tzinacantecuhti (aka BAT LORD) and also got to experience these 16th century Aztec ritual knives

A Central American bat/man hybrid called Tzinacantecuhti. He has a bat face and a human body and wears three bells around his neck. Currently displayed in the Cloisters museum.

A knife from 16th century Aztec culture, but it has teeth and big googly eyes. Like a mixture of Curly from Mouthwashing and the things from those 2000s Quiznos commercials.

Working on a Big Fantasy series and I think it's important to add some yappers in the mix. If you don't have a Kurapika to do a powerpoint at some point, you're leaving content on the floor, you just gotta make sure people treat them as annoying in universe.

In the fun beginning parts of planning a story where you can add and subtract big elements to see if they work. Adding a fantasy communist here solves a lot of structural problems, but adding the annoying bird might distract from the main themes.

For the record, I do not think you should play all 100 endings of The 100 Line. All it's interesting or charming elements get exhausted by the end - a truly flawed project that my friend and I spent 13 full days on in a trauma bonding way.
