I was able to write off $250 until tronald dump took that away in 2017. Billionaires could write off a jet plane, but I couldn’t write off pencils and paper. We’re demonizing the wrong people.

This is not news. I started teaching in 1998. At first supplies were provided by families. Staying in 2005 I purchased 1000 pencils a year every single year until 2025 when I retired. I also purchased composition books, filler paper, glue sticks, crayons, and snacks for hungry kids.
