You start to really appreciate the lack of ads here when on Twitter you get your screen blocked out of nowhere with a pop-up ad for Twitter Blue. Has happened 3 times already today. Fuck off Elon.

Got an Air Fryer with the Black Friday Sales. People are right, this Is a gamechanger, It saves so much time and food cooks much better than in an Oven. The perfect single male tool.

Choose One: -half of an incomplete deck on a buggy client that charges you for cards you already have that might last you a year -these 7 banger games with infinite replayability I think the choice Is pretty clear.

These type of posts are why i can't fully transition to Bluesky yet, despite being the better website. Bluesky Is peaceful yes, but perhaps too peaceful...

Finished Arcane. I said It on Twitter but i'll Say It here too: Amazing ending, everything gets tied together very well; episode 7 Is one of the best TV episodes ever, animation was beautiful. Cemented itself in my top 3, maybe Is now my favorite TV show ever.

000

Maffi @maffitheone.bsky.social · 25/11/2024

I tried putting my Bluesky profile link in my Twitter Bio. Apparently i can't, because It gets reported as Malware. Even though i already have another link there (my Untapped). Good job Elon, this definitely doesn't make me wanna fully switch even more.

000

Maffi @maffitheone.bsky.social · 25/11/2024

Makes sense. I guess Tenacity Is good if they hold removal for an expected Dross and you still get to keep your combo piece, which then curves into the Demon Token for a clean 4 damage if it sticks.

000

Maffi @maffitheone.bsky.social · 25/11/2024

No Demons like Dross? Too many 4drops? Or are you coasting on the Conqueror Lifegain to not die to Annex?

110

Maffi @maffitheone.bsky.social · 25/11/2024

At least Bluesky takes them more seriously, even if i have seen some of your posts pointing out some flaws in the block system. Hopefully not too many of them decide to move here.

100

Maffi @maffitheone.bsky.social · 25/11/2024

When It comes to targeted harassment you're right, the personal motivation is the main driver, but at least generic trolls have no active reward here and people who harass don't get paid to do It. At least It seems reporting them gets taken way more seriously here.

100

Maffi @maffitheone.bsky.social · 25/11/2024

Yes and no. A big reason people troll or harass people on Twitter Is the Blue Check system, which combined with the much looser block system and the fact that Elon doesn't stop those people, makes harassing people on Twitter actively rewarding. Bluesky provides no reward and Is much stricter.

Maffi @maffitheone.bsky.social · 25/11/2024

The moment Twitter shitposters move over here, it's over for Twitter.

000

Maffi @maffitheone.bsky.social · 25/11/2024

I can't open Twitter until i see the final episodes because people are posting straight up screen caps. Thank god Bluesky has been safe so far.

The Mercato in Milan Is the best thing ever. It's essentially a perpetual Street Food festival, but gourmet and has foods from all over the world. Thank god i don't live in Milan cause i would go broke there.

I also tried Lorcana. I think the game Is a Bootleg MTG and no online client means i will never play It regularly, but their mana system is amazing, everything being a MDFC makes the game feel smooth, reduces dead draws but you need to be careful with converting resources. Top tier.

Periodic reminder: a lot of what makes AI "work" is exploited people doing the tasks, just hidden behind fancy websites. It's good that a normie outlet like 60 Minutes is reporting on this.

We must must must resist the idea that generative AI is inevitable. It is not inevitable. People don't really like it. It doesn't do its job well. It removes the humanity from one of the most human-forward things. Not to mention it is an environmental nightmare. Keep banging the drum. Say no to AI.

Seasoned Pyromancer, with the caveat that they ban Fable from Pioneer. My 2nd pick would be Faithless Looting, but It isn't technically Modern Legal.

As i said over on Twitter, i am probably gonna use Twitter as the MTG platform and this as the everything else (but still some MTG) platform. At least until i am out of ArenaJail. Mostly because i don't like Double Posting and I wanna start posting cooking stuff somewhere.

Either the Bluesky algorithm thinks i like seeing Italians posting mediocre thirst traps or that Is all the Italians over here post. For some reason i also see a lot of male Thirst traps, despite me not liking any? Does the algorithm think i'm gay?

It doesn't matter how much you might hate a character in Arcane for their actions, Jayce will find a way to make you hate him more.

Maffi @maffitheone.bsky.social · 16/11/2024

I appreciate the lack of bots and ads here, and I really like that this is a safe space, but what's missing for me Is the sort of irreverent snark that only comes from people who are not in a safe space, that Twitter has in spades. It's gonna take a while before Bluesky gets there.
