Since I'm already a little out of sorts as to what should come off next, I end up having to spend time just looking over where the screws are and figuring out what'll hook into what panel if I take it off. Eventually I decide to take off the printer box because... well, it's meant to be detachable.

There's not an easy way to describe the anxiety of knowing you're putting in work with little to no guarantee of a payoff. I just spent several hours cleaning, straightening, and regreasing all 22 of these cash register levers. I have no idea if this machine will go back together.
