Hey, critters. The media's interested in furries again. As someone who's been in the fandom for well over two decades and has worked as a journalist, here's a quick guide to Dealing With The Press: If a journalist approaches you, SHUT THE FUCK UP SHUT THE FUCK UP SHUT THE FUCK UP SHUT THE FUC

@sofurry.com So, I just heard the site is back online, but it's changed significantly. I can't find the subscriptions page. I found a "feed" page, but that's just filled with user comments, not submissions. Where do I go to see works people I follow post?

I don't like the new MegaLucarioZ design. He's just... meh. Too flashy, too much going on. I could tolerate MegaLucario, but the Z version is just too much.

Cartoons are for everyone!

A picture of the Looney Tunes that says Raise your hand if you still watch cartoons and don't care how old you are!

Heads up .NET developers. I just discovered that Microsoft's Isolated Storage uses either a hash of your app's .exe path, or if your app is signed, uses a hash of your code signing cert to determine your assembly's Isolated Storage path. This means apps signed with the same cert HAVE THE SAME PATH!

Please share this far and wide. People are still posting with incorrect labels. If you’re using graphic as a label - many of us are not seeing your content, as we have it blocked.

Really Google AI? Really? Are you suuuure about that? Considering the first result under your assumption.

In #Resonite, the order of formatting commands are sometimes very important. did you know you can format text as "small caps", but using entirely lower case characters? Small caps, but not capitals. "<allcaps>Aa<lowercase>Aa"

MadManMarkAu ⚣ @madmanmarkau.bsky.social · 15/02/2025

So, I've been playing with the #Resonite text rendering/formatting, and I've found some cursed things. Supertext and subtext formats are cumulative. You can supertext things that are already supertexted, and they get double-supertexted.

I really really need you guys to make a conscious rejection of generative AI tools part of your ongoing political resistance. Don't use ChatGPT. Turn off Gemini. Don't read the AI results forced upon you at the top of Google search. Don't use AI art generators or support anyone who does. Please.

Doing dodgy things in #Resonite. :3 This is tantamount to a "Hello World" application. I write it from scratch, because there are no current guides out there for making ProtoFlux nodes.

Screenshot of Resonite showing a ProtoFlux node called "Value Builder". Three float inputs are connect to the X, Y and Z connectors, and a display output is connected to the value output. The node is combining the three float inputs into a single float3 output.

Hi The new NSFW button is called LABELS. It shows up when you put an image in a post. Labeling your NSFW images makes them work with Bsky's built-in moderation system. You won't lose visibility because people who want to see NSFW have it turned on. It's just considerate, that's all. Cheers!

The new NSFW button called "labels" shows up when you load an image into your post. It's not there otherwise. It's near the "anybody can interact" text close to the bottom.

Can people, like, hashtag their political posts, so I can filter them out? I really don't want to see them.

I wonder what criteria there is for posts in the "Discover" tab to show up. It's literally 50% politics.

For the new nonfurry bluesky users who may be confused: Furries are a sign of a healthy online ecosystem. We flock to places of acceptance and safety. Think of us like digital wildlife. But funnier.

BSky needs a "follow, but no reposts" type of follow, where I can follow things posted by someone, but not things they repost. I know, there is a feed that filters out reposts, but I'd want it only for one account, not all accounts I follow.

There, I think I have moved all the SFW follows over to this account. Was much easier moving the 18 SFW accounts I follow and swapping account handles, than moving the 102 NSFW accounts I follow XD
