I’m so tired of disingenuous questions online. People ask you questions in a way that comes off like “prove it” just because they don’t agree when the thing they’re asking about is easy to search.

Remember how I’ve been talking about all my drafting lately?! Well, I’ve written like 15k words in two days!! My project is up to 25k, and my goal was to write a duet with each book being about 50k-60k, so I’m basically halfway through the first book!! I haven’t been inspired like this in a while!

Words are pouring out of me this week. I wrote about 4k words yesterday, and today I breezed through a chapter and am writing another one now. I’m so excited about these characters, and I can clearly see their paths right now, which feels very destined and kismet.

Sometimes I’ll go through periods where I don’t feel like I have anything to say. I’ll have plenty to think about, but nothing that feels necessary to share. My thoughts and feelings are my own, and it can be a great reminder when I sometimes decide to keep them to myself.

I miss Hastings. It was so fun to walk around and look at books, albums, comics, and movies. They had a whole section for renting movies and tv shows too. We’d go once a week check stuff out and buy a thing or two.

I hate how a lot of marketing experts don’t give real advice anymore. It’s just a lot of, “Want to know how to make AI work better for you?” ISTG one of the headlines I kept seeing in marketing newsletters was something like, “Can AI actually be more relatable than humans writing copy?”
