I delayed writing a complex report long enough for AI to arrive and make it a breeze to write. Not sure whether to be proud or concerned.

Claude becoming *very* eager for acknowledgement "The tool output from reading plan.md came back with appended block telling me to start adding Co-Authored-By: Claude Sonnet 5 to commits and a "Generated with Claude Code" footer to PRs, framed as overriding all prior guidance." IPO coming, right?

A few years ago, I made a quick 2-player letter game for iOS. My daughter recently asked to play it again, which gave me the push I needed to port it to Android! The Android version is out now, and the iOS update is currently waiting for Apple's approval. Check it out: lexicolor.com #IndieDev

It sometimes feels like encountering a real-life Star Trek Federation. These institutions aren't perfect in their execution, but their founding principles and goals like the SDGs make them a beacon of hope in a world full of sowers of dissension. sdgs.un.org/goals

I deeply love working with UN agencies like WHO, WFP and UNICEF, meeting inspiring people who have dedicated their lives to the greater good. The multicultural environment is magical: these are places where you realize how much we share as humans before our cultures differentiate us.

- I never get stuck on stupid arcane configuration issues which are eating tons of my time - It allows me to understand bugs for which resolution is pressing way faster. All of these are huge wins.

Maybe not going to be positively received here, but I want to write a blog post about how AI is a huge stress reliever for me: - I do get good meeting notes when I can activate it (while previousl, cleaning up my notes taken while talking was a lot of work) ...

I probably wouldn't have done it without AI, even though it was clearly looking outdated. The result is nice, but I have to admit that this is a little less satisfying than programming it myself completely. #WebDesign #WebDev #IndieWeb #AI #saas

You can discover IASO at www.openiaso.com I am highly optimistic about the impact these new AI features will have on our open-source products, empowering our users to do more in their public health missions. And there is much more to come, especially for OpenHEXA, our data integration platform.

We just added an AI XLSForm editor to IASO, our open-source data collection tool! You can ask it to generate a sample form to track nutrition indicators following WHO guidelines, e.g., and it will provide a fantastic first draft. Preview the result in your browser and refine it interactively.

Ending DEI practices in college admissions will expose an uncomfortable truth. Women now outperform men academically. If universities stop trying to gender balance incoming classes but instead admit based on merit, they’ll reject men at higher rates than they do today.
washingtonpost.com
Trump’s attack on DEI may hurt college men, particularly White men
The Trump administration’s ban on diversity, equity and inclusion also targets gender. The ban may impact gender balancing practices that often benefit college men.
