I think a lot of the AI disconnect happens due to people not understanding what the purpose of art is. Books are seen as products with a list of elements, but what is storytelling without intention or human connection? You can make a “sandwich” out of cardboard & styrofoam but it won’t nourish you.

We have enough evidence for UBI in general that this policy should be a given. But the difference is, to understand UBI works is to believe that people are fundamentally good. And a big chunk of society is built around the belief, *must maintain the belief* that people are fundamentally bad.
