Emailed a dev asking if they used any generative AI in their game, they told me they don’t use any and are anti gen-ai, so I bought and played and positively reviewed their game. Just to find out they DID use genAI for translations and didn’t report it to steam. It’s exhausting out here dude

This is one of my favorite games in the world, and will probably be my hardest boycott so far. CDPR uses generative AI, they say right now that it’s only in “productivity areas” but their reasons for not using AI art are all about logistics and legality, not morals. I can’t give them my money.
