that kind of goes against the whole "demons to some, angels to others" theme they have though, they're a really stiff and almost lawful evil sort of entities which makes them seem very calculating and intriguing, more like a Force than the villains (since 2 and 2 have very clear villains)

I heard it was decent! I might give it a watch sometime soon since its another Hellbound Heart adapation like 1 was and the film is fresh in my head, but I got more stuff on the movie list to get through

I quite liked one and I enjoy the appearance and performance of the cenobites in 1 & 2 but I don't see their charm working if they just show up over and over and over

probably not watching more Hellraiser movies, apparently after 2 they go downhill pretty fast and I didn't even like 2 that much

Barker wrote some of this but not the whole of it/didn't direct, and its larger scope means not any contained tension and horror of the first. Its mostly a visual treat but it lacks a lot of cohesion and reuses clips/b roll from the first movie and constant shots of people running down grey tunnels

A good time! Its a really tightly contained film with solid performances and some really good practical effects with a proper story beat to invest in - I think people forget about how pretty good Barker is at writing tense interpersonal dramas to build up to his psycho-sexual gorehorror and themes

Not only is there no reason to watch 1995 Judge Dredd because 2012 Dredd exists, but also because Demolition Man exists, a superior and way more fun psuedo-cyberpunk Stallone cop movie with a pretty stacked cast and when Rob Schneider appears he only have like 5 lines

There's no reason to watch this when Dredd (2012) exists. Its got more story/worldbuilding from the comics, a meme, and some good 1995 practical sets, costume/makeup/static cgi/matte bgs/score but outside of von Sydow every actor SUCKS, theme is bad, pacing bad, ROB SCHNEIDER IS A MAIN CHARACTER

the funniest/most annoying instance of moderating someone trying to sell art commissions without disclosing they were using AI was someone who was VERY confidently calling us liars and posting 'progress' that was very obviously fake and/or reverse-engineered from the AI

It’s Jane’s sprites, darling 💅✨

4 sprites of the character Jane from Gravehearts, she a tall woman with pale skin, a black bob and large white saucer like eyes. Shes wearing a large deer skin coat and a green dress with a plant like pattern over it, she also has a collar made of ivy that comes from her neck to her wrists. The first pose shes gesturing with a casual expression. The second shes blowing the player a little kiss, third she has her hands on her face with a worried expression and the 4th shes standing with on hand on her chest and the other on her hip.
