Madam Jumbo @madamjumbo.bsky.social · 15/09/2026There are many great Disney movies from the xerography era, but I don’t think it ever looked better than in One Hundred and One Dalmatians. 150
Madam Jumbo @madamjumbo.bsky.social · 07/09/2026Anyone else feel like Laika might be getting *too* good at stop motion animation? The trailer for their new movie is so smooth I really struggle to not perceive it as CGI. If I weren’t familiar with their work I’d probably assume it was. 040

Madam Jumbo @madamjumbo.bsky.social · 24/07/2026I am impressed that, based on the trailers, it appears that Wile E. Coyote does not talk in Coyote vs. Acme. It might seem like the obvious right choice but it’s just the sort of thing I’d expect studios to chicken out on these days and give him some unnecessary celeb voice actor. 050

Madam Jumbo @madamjumbo.bsky.social · 19/07/2026I love Sleeping Beauty but the fairies’ plan makes no sense. If you know true love’s kiss is going to break the spell you shouldn’t raise the princess in hiding; you should be introducing her to as many young men as possible! 100
Madam Jumbo @madamjumbo.bsky.social · 29/06/2026@sarahtaber.bsky.social I don't know if I've ever felt more proud to be a Californian as I do watching your videos, since it seems like every time you mention CA agriculture, it's about something we do right! Madam Jumbo @madamjumbo.bsky.social · 28/06/2026I really hate the proliferation of “Don’t yuck my yum”, not just because the word choice is nauseating, but also because there’s nothing wrong with disliking stuff other people like! If you really like something, other people disliking it shouldn’t detract from your enjoyment of it! 110

Madam Jumbo @madamjumbo.bsky.social · 26/06/2026Lady and the Tramp: a pretty good couple. But what's with the part where Jock and Trusty propose to Lady? Is it because she's in the doghouse? Or because she's a "ruined woman" after her night with Tramp? #RatingDisneyCouples 000

Madam Jumbo @madamjumbo.bsky.social · 12/06/2026I guess I'm just kinda sour on Pixar right now cuz at this point I'm disappointed no matter what they do. This art style would be a revelation if they'd done it before Spiderverse and that Turtles movie but now it just feels like they're following a trend. www.youtube.com/watch?v=NIKf...youtube.comGatto | Teaser Trailer | In Theaters March 5, 2027YouTube video by Pixar 110
Madam Jumbo @madamjumbo.bsky.social · 08/06/2026I really love all four of these, and the way that seeing them all lined up gives the impression that Muppets are just another kind of animal actor. 111

Madam Jumbo @madamjumbo.bsky.social · 07/06/2026Has any Disney character been defanged as much as Tinkerbell, if you compare the Disney parks version of their character to the movie version? All the princesses act kind of lobotomized and it's weird how Alice and the Mad Hatter run around like they're friends, but Tinkerbell does a complete 180. 180

Madam Jumbo @madamjumbo.bsky.social · 23/05/2026I really love how the classic Disney movies use the same voice actors over and over. Wish they still did that. I mean, they do with Alan Tudyk and Awkwafina, but that’s not quite the same. 120

Madam Jumbo @madamjumbo.bsky.social · 18/04/2026The worst thing in women’s fashion isn’t no pockets, or fake pockets. It’s when you have a fully constructed pocket that for some reason is an inch deep. It doesn’t save on bulk or construction costs. A usable pocket would be less bulky because it would lie flatter instead of getting all bunched up! 110
