Cville - 64 West between exit 124 and 118 is terribly snarled, might want to find an alternative route.

The overnight 5th St Wawa shooting is disturbing to me, my kid goes there for late night food runs, his friends work there. Once again, the plethora of guns we have available in this country contributed to the escalation of what started as a fight and ended in some innocent people getting hurt.

And just like that we are back to over $4/gallon for gas. Wawa on 5th Street is $4.09 for regular this morning.

Right now - and every June 6th at 644pm - the Bedford Courthouse bell tolls 20 times, once for each of the Bedford Boys who died on D-Day in order to defeat fascism and win WWII. Let us never forget the cause for which they fought and the ultimate sacrifice they gave.

If you’ve been thinking about giving a donation to a food bank, this is an awesome time of year to do it! When kids are out of school for the summer, those who rely on schools for meals, often find themselves without enough food for the entire family.

Not all heroes wear capes. Some spend their lives fighting greedy corporations poisoning communities for profit. If Erin Brockovich is sounding the alarm about data centers, people should start paying attention. Her website to track data centers will be a HUGE help. SPREAD THE WORD!

A lot of coverage is framing the gerrymandering referendum as a check on Trump's "agenda" or "policies" which is true, of course, but the basic issue is that Democrats are trying to limit the power of an authoritarian and his party. When it's framed that way "hardball" seems quite appropriate.
