It's been too long. That's embarrassing as an organization. And putting so much weight on 40+ year old nostalgia is kind of weak. And don't get me started on FTP. If anything, that whole schtick just emphasizes how much the Packers have had the Bears number over the last four decades.

Ditka reverence is one of the big problems I have with Bears fandom. Great player, questionable coach. Any time I saw him in his post coaching life, he was either offering up meatball takes on the game or idiotic political commentary. Fan obsession with 85 is kind of pathetic, to me...

in a golden age of the interwebs, early 2000s maybe, a few bands I like would put demos and early versions of their songs on "secret" pages of their websites. Cracker did this whole thing with a series of clues you had to decipher to get to the different songs. It was fun. The web used to be fun.

We have a laundry chute that goes to the basement. Right now the pile of laundry under that chute opening is hilariously high. When I was a kid, I was kind of judge-y toward my friend Robby's parents because their laundry room always had a giant backlog of dirty laundry. Now I get it...
