Solar panel installed to rear camera. Not an offical Ring one, but this was more than half price. Camera has detected it and is charging. Battery was on 90% when installed. Usually lasts around 3 months stand alone.

The time on my PC has been way off, at boot up, for some time. I checked all the settings, but they were spot on. On a net, a few weeks ago, G6RSU suggested an MB battery swap. Just swapped it now and kerching! Old battery (CR2032) was reading 0.06v.

Our fox was back last night, around 21:30. We shall have to follow Nick Beggs lead and pit some eggs out (great idea). Just need a name now.

I really don’t know how companies like Sky fell that putting their prices up by over 20% is a good deal. Even more frustrating is that rental prices are a lot more than new customers prices, something I thought had been outlawed some time ago.

EBay emailed to say they have reviewed my case and found in favour of the seller, in that they provided evidence of delivery. They didn’t! All they produced was a text based timeline saying so. They did say they had sent me a link to the delivery photo. However, this just pointed at the 1/n

Just get a text to say my vehicle inspection results are through and I need the front nearside tire changing. This is the reason why I went in in the first place as this was picked up on the MOT. Interesting how they missed the advised brake disc swap.

Having a tyre swapped at Kwik Fit, usually on, but O hate that look of “what else can we sell you” when you walk in. Already received a text saying they have started my vehicle inspection …. just swap the tyre!

Not done this for sometime. I did tighten my grouping up, honest! Probably about size of a 10p at 30 yards.

Wio Tracker L1 Pro arrived today. A tidy little unit for under £30. Quickly flashed it to MeshCore (it come loaded with Meshtastic) and flashed my Heltec V3 to a repeater.

As part of the tree clearance I took the old random wire out of the trees and put a new post in. 8m extendable at 6m. However, it does stand out a bit, despite a camouflage wrap, so I may reduce it to 5m.

After all these years I looked up how to say Yaesu. I found a site with sound clips from 2 Japanese people and they both said Yi Ya Soo - Yi as in high Ya as in Hay, Soo as in Soup.

That was easy. MeshCore added to the SD card on the Cardputer ADV and run via Launcher. Launcher is very useful for having multiple Firmware on the SD card and booting whatever takes your fancy. If I ever travel by bus I’m sure to be the coolest kid onboard!

Just picked up this pair of Matchbox Choppers for my collectibles shelves at the top of the stairs. Had to laugh at one seller who had a chewed up Purple one (minus horses head) for over £70 !!!! £9.99 posted for the two.

Noticed that Meshtastic nodes have gone from over 200 to just over 30 in recent weeks, so going to dip a toe into Meshcore. Picked up a Wio l1 Pro for just over £30, will repurpose the current Metastatic as a Meshcore repeater.

What is this new fashion of just dropping a package on the door step, taking a picture, then walking away!? It’s becoming a regular occurrence. Is this even considered delivered? Parti as no attempt was made to post it through the letter box or hand it over directly. As always it’s Evri.

Picked this up at Holland and Barrett today. Currently doing a 3 for 2 offer. Simply spray on the inside of the mouth (cheek) once a day. Let’s see if this helps with that constant tiredy custard feeling!

Interesting. If HamClock boots without interaction it takes an absolute age to get up and running. If I click the screen, to go into setup, then click done it boots almost immediately. Something trivial I’m sure, but what can it be! 🤔

Sigh, just popped into Trespass. Large number of items not priced, so had to look up online. T- shirts that were £12.99 each or 2 for £20 are now £32.99 each! We left empty handed.
