yeah, I'm sure there's more, it's just that challenge tags (for a "discovery" tab) literally just released on goldberries (!) and I happened to be the first to tag a map as a seeker map. of course, the "discovery" tab in question tends to be full of SJ unless you specifically rule out every SJ map

filtering by maps tagged as "MOCElike" gameplay. anglemiau is missing but otherwise it includes all of the ones I can think of?

16 maps tagged as seeker maps in goldberries discovery tab (actually, four of them are zescent and two of them are the same Secret Ingredient Contest map, so it's only 11)

a 19-miss clear on Prime Time D21 in XX. this is my first time clearing a chart that's rated D21 in XX and that's not Twist of Fate D21 (a D17 with slow gimmicks), but this is only true of XX, as Prime Time D21 was rerated to D20 in Phoenix and Hello William D20 is a D21 in Prime 2.

actually if this glitchy repost is related to certain recent PRs then I should probably also mention the unique results you can get from failing in multiplayer while holding the SP button with enough SP, which is probably just a symptom of the game not force-releasing inputs when you fail

update: didn't find the controllers (or dongle) I was looking for, but found the MIDI adapter I used to use for RB3 Pro Keys (it's exactly as sticky as everyone else's is in 2026) and also the Rocksmith electric-guitar-to-USB-microphone adapter, which... it's something, I guess

...whatever, the whole point of nightly is that it's not perfect yet and at least it's an excuse to go searching for the 6-fret controllers I got when GHL came out; I'm sure I don't have the dongles for any of the 5-fret ones I have lying around but the ones for GHL are still *right there*

currently this doesn't let you pick 5-lane Keys charts, and picking a 5-fret Bass chart makes your maximum multiplier 4x (native 6-fret charts use 6x) also the default texture for black notes is rather shiny and it can be hard to tell the difference, especially with barre chords in the mix

but also I have 2000+ hours in Celeste and probably the majority of my mutuals are trans, so if that's your experience with Enterrium then I *probably* don't want to go there even if it has the newest and most functional game that's not 2 hours away

yeah, it was about Enterrium. I care a lot more about music games than pinball, and once you go more than 20 minutes away from Chicago there's suddenly like, only one PIU every 200 square miles (so the backlog of what to check for maintenance quality... doesn't get gone through very fast)

I wonder if anyone has any actual numbers about Clone Hero's fail meter from what I can tell, it's a little shorter than YARG's, counts overstrums as a full miss (YARG counts them 1/3), has slightly stronger star power, and starts in the yellow instead of the green, but like, numbers would be nice

the solo bonus calculation is similar to modern CH in that it only takes away about 350 points for a -1 in a solo no matter how long the solo is, so it doesn't have the RB3 problem where missing a single note in a long solo makes golds impossible (in songs like Free Bird)
