a 19-miss clear on Prime Time D21 in XX. this is my first time clearing a chart that's rated D21 in XX and that's not Twist of Fate D21 (a D17 with slow gimmicks), but this is only true of XX, as Prime Time D21 was rerated to D20 in Phoenix and Hello William D20 is a D21 in Prime 2.

currently this doesn't let you pick 5-lane Keys charts, and picking a 5-fret Bass chart makes your maximum multiplier 4x (native 6-fret charts use 6x) also the default texture for black notes is rather shiny and it can be hard to tell the difference, especially with barre chords in the mix

I wonder if anyone has any actual numbers about Clone Hero's fail meter from what I can tell, it's a little shorter than YARG's, counts overstrums as a full miss (YARG counts them 1/3), has slightly stronger star power, and starts in the yellow instead of the green, but like, numbers would be nice

...come to think of it, the @kutuamagames.bsky.social rating system means the correct play for certain opening rolls might depend on rating difference like, with a 4-1, the 4 is definitely 13/9, but the 1 is probably 24/23 against a lower rating but 6/5 against a higher one

switched from macOS Safari to @waterfox.net for unrelated reasons (Safari doesn't support the Web MIDI API, which has a few interesting sites using it from before the internet was just Bluesky and YouTube) and it worked, yay ...but also it's 23:25 I should wait until tomorrow to try streaming again

ran into this position (as white, with brown rolling the 6-4) and like, that's an edge case I haven't seen before brown played 6/0, not 6/2 5/0 (apparently "you have to use both dice if you can" comes second to "you can't unnecessarily waste pips in the bearoff"?)

a position where I'm anchored on brown's ace-point and brown has 120360 on the last six points, having just rolled a 6-4. it's possible to move using both dice and it's possible to not waste pips with either of them, but it's not possible to do both
