Here's today's column on the astonishing, ongoing mistreatment of people with #ME/CFS. Please spread it far and wide: the only thing which can break the media's wall of indifference is seeing an article about the issue go viral. Thank you. 1/2 www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...

Abandoned, dismissed and gaslighted: there is no excuse for the way ME sufferers have been betrayed | George Monbiot
Changes in guidance and science seem to have little impact on millions of devastated lives. It’s a social crisis playing out behind closed doors, says Guardian columnist George Monbiot

Spokesperson from US’s NOAA asked about climate change impact on upcoming heat dome over there by BBC reporter. Are they not allowed to mention it anymore? Came out with a load of guff about concrete. UK weather people mentioned it most forecasts.

“Put ice in front of a fan to cool you down” I can’t see this being very effective. Minimal cooling effect whilst increasing humidity as ice melts & air flow evaporates water. Also, to make more ice, your freezer needs to cool down water which uses energy & produces heat out of back of freezer.

This 👇👇👇 The insulation level or age of your house makes no difference. Two heat pumps, both providing heating water at the same temperature with the same load will have the same efficiency regardless of one supplying a small, poorly insulated home and the other a large, well insulated home.

Almost 10 years ago, I got a concussion and haven’t recovered. There has been little progress towards awareness, care and treatment of #postconcussionsyndrome in that time. How do I raise awareness of this issue when I appear to be invisible? Other health conditions get lots of publicity and cash.
