Lynn Hurtak @lynnhurtak.com · 29/08/2026I’m afraid you aren’t alone, and said as much on @wmnf.org yesterday. At the very least, I expect it to pass in Hillsborough County. 100
Lynn Hurtak @lynnhurtak.com · 28/08/2026I just finished this book not too long ago. It was wonderful! Every chapter focused on a different midwestern dish. 010
Lynn Hurtak @lynnhurtak.com · 26/08/2026The CDD is supposed to be for paying off the other $100M, some of the county's share, and, ideally for the Rays, some of the money they are putting in as well. But there will be no property taxes generated for the stadium itself, so other things will have to be built to get any $$ at all. 030
Lynn Hurtak @lynnhurtak.com · 26/08/2026It will have to come from the general fund if it isn't coming from CIT. Or, we'll have to borrow it. So far, no one in the administration has answered the question of where the money is coming from. 150

Lynn Hurtak @lynnhurtak.com · 26/08/2026To be clear, City Council did not even see this "agreement" until almost 12 hours AFTER the paper somehow managed to report on its existence. I remain extremely concerned about the amount of secrecy and misdirection involved in this proposal. www.tampabay.com/sports/rays/...tampabay.comTampa Bay Rays unveil community benefits commitments as stadium votes nearThe official community benefits agreement still needs to be approved, County Attorney Julia Mandell says in an email to commissioners Tuesday night. 0228

When E—n M—k & his crew obliterated USAID in a weekend, they deleted a vast trove of publicly-funded knowledge: the Development Experience Clearinghouse. Lynn Hurtak @lynnhurtak.com · 09/06/2026Thanks! We get around $370M from property taxes, not even enough to cover police and fire's $427M budget. Is the parks board a separate budget or part of the $2B? 000
