Tonight’s movie watch was “9 to 5” in honour of Dolly. I’d totally forgotten all the slapstick, and two other people realised they’d mixed it up with “Working Girl.” Great film

Yep, as certain as I can be that was a marsh harrier harassing the ducks at Druridge Bay. That was exciting!

Escaped up the coast to Cresswell for breakfast at the Drift Cafe, then parked up behind the dunes at Druridge Bay. Lovely walk through the nature reserves and possibly sighted the marsh harrier hunting over the lake. Now home and ready to confirm whether we did or not

"Four tales perfect for one-shots—running one to three sessions—or even as campaign starters. Three of the adventures should be pretty easy for novice GMs to pull off at the game table too... Your players should have fun with these" says The Gaming Gang about our new Rivers of London #TTRPG release.

Went to see Miriam Margolyes on her Full English tour. Riotously funny, very rude, and also surprisingly warm and uplifting. Special mention to Jan, the BSL interpreter, who taught us all a thing or two about signing swear words and sex acts!

The invisible labor (often performed by women and marginalized folks) that keeps organizations afloat remains hidden and uncompensated. But those musing about AI's "transformation" of work have probably always benefited from this kind of labor in all parts of their life and don't see it as work.

Padstow was lovely first thing but then other people turned up. We slightly spoiled ourselves by being outdoors or going places midweek, so other people was not great. The National Lobster Hatchery was great fun, though - the short film explaining its work was beautifully written and very funny

I kept waking up last night repeating to myself, “Walking the wings of the wind.” I remember it being slightly different in the early stages - it wasn’t “wings,” though I can’t remember what it was - and having a conversation with myself that “wings” made more sense.
