New math The investigators evaluated 73 patients with motor neuron diseases, 120 patients with motor neuron diseases, and 38 healthy controls. Of the motor neuron disease patients, 4 had progressive muscular atrophy, 15 had primary lateral sclerosis, and 100 had amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
