Tank by far. The boy can't take the blows. He'd try PLD for the security of a shield, but he's usually never willing to lift heavy objects for too long tbh. Alternatively, healer post-HW. He is incapable of manipulating aether to heal in any capacity, just syphon it and damage. #lycinawolqotd

Elidibus induced Cadis's echo in the HW patches with a meteor shower, just like he did to others on the 1st. Cadis still isn't used to its effects and would happily return to his life without it. #lycinawolqotd

Building on the last post -- Ilberd and Elidibus were two individuals who hurt Cadis the most. Cadis built a bond with Ilberd long before ARR, and aspired to return home to Gyr Abania, trusting in Ilberd's determination to lead them there. Cadis was used & abused to assist this aim + #lycinawolqotd

An isolated upbringing in a supporting community left Cadis ill-prepared for a ruthless world. Scarred for his naivety and lack of SI & EQ, his acquired cynicism and erected emotional barriers just created further heartache. Healing only began after forming constructive bonds. #lycinawolqotd

Cadis’s clan in the Dimwold relocate their camps frequently and don’t have stationary kitchens. Meals are typically made communally over open fire. They dry herbs & spices, but the swamp’s moisture causes meats/fruits/veggies to spoil quickly. They’ve developed a culture of burying -- #lycinawolqotd

I still need to design the looks for Cadis's ancient, Epimetheus, and his shard from the 13th, Sabele. His shard from the 1st is Taynor, and I've yet to decide on his 9th shard. All of his different aspects have varying appearances, but some similar personality quirks. #lycinawolqotd

Cadis is the youngest of his family by 10 years in a community that suffered from the genocide of Black Rose. He was the baby until his older sister had her first child when he was 9. He definitely has youngest sibling energy, but grew into his big brother/uncle responsibilities. #lycinawolqotd

Elfwifecity's post where the Crystal Exarch informs everyone that he is once again 'at it' changed my vocabulary immediately. It's so fucking funny. Whenever I do something I say that I am regrettably once again 'at it'. It is bar none my favorite FFXIV comic/meme alive x.com/elfwifecity/...

A comic by elfwifecity.

Panel 1: Friends,

Panel 2, Crystal Exarch: I have gathered you here to announce that regrettably, I am once again, "at it".
Panel 3, Y'shtola: You fucked up.
Alisaie: He fucked up.
Crystal Exarch: I have indeed fucked up.
Panel 4, Crystal Exarch: However! In order to make it up to you all, I will be ordering a pizza. Which toppings do you prefer?
Alisaie, off-screen: my ass
Panel 5: Alphinaud, horrified: ALISAIE
Alisaie, flat: No literally put my ass on the pizza and bake it. I'm serious.
Crystal Exarch, sweating nervously: And the rest of you????
