Pride was born as a riot, and has always been an act of defiance. During my life, I survived an internment camp. I came out at 68. I've watched rights get won and now watch them being rolled back. Yet I'm still here, still proud, and still holding Brad's hand.

This headline is a disgusting lie Special Disability Trusts are not affected *AT ALL* The article even makes it clear the concerns of the bloke (a solicitor with expertise in wills and estates) in this story are not about his disabled son but his other children being able to minimize their tax!
Headlined from The Australian

Families of disabled children forced to overhaul finances under new Labor tax reformstext of story:

The first trust is a special disability trust, which will be largely unaffected by tax reforms in Labor’s controversial federal budget.

While it has some “limitations” as to how it can be spent, this trust will allow a few trusted people to access enough funds to see Henry properly cared for.

The second is a discretionary testamentary trust, which would be taxed at Labor’s new 30 per cent minimum if it was being established in the future.

Mr Latham told The Australian the initial appeal of a testamentary trust was its flexibility. “What that (trust) was intended to do was provide a pool of funds as a contingency for my son with a disability. But there’s also a broader range of beneficiaries, which includes my other children, so if Henry’s needs were met, there would be flexibility for the trustees to apply the funds more broadly to other beneficiaries,” he said.

I think the movie is an example of why ‘Heated Rivalry’ has been so successful by comparison. It normalises (gay) sex - even as a way into intimacy - and the frequent scenes in early episodes really allowed the two leads to develop chemistry. IMAO.

Been watching ’The History of Sound’. I loved the short story and was looking forward to the film. It’s beautiful in its own way but it’s exceptionally coy with the gay sex which results in little opportunity for the two leads to develop any chemistry. The hetero sex (of course) is more explicit.
