For Minnesota: Hank Stebbins takes over as interim sporting director, per sources. Stebbins is currently the team’s head of recruitment and is highly thought of within the organization. He’s expected to be a candidate for the permanent job, sources say.

I've noticed that, out of possession, Diego Chara steps into the back line with how wide Fory is. 5-4-1. #RCTID

San Diego FC has loaned Chucky Lozano to LA Galaxy. I write about how it makes sense from a roster-management perspective. ⬇️✍️

PTFC has announced changes to the coaching staff. Spaniards Xavi Calm and Javi Ortiz have arrived in Portland to support Marti Cifuentes. Former Timbers captain Liam Ridgewell departs, and Memo Valencia joins Jack Cassidy's T2 staff. I talk about it for @stumptownfooty.bsky.social #RCTID

That would make the most sense to me. When I worked in the club space, we as a staff would typically need to put on pennies (bibs) If our staff kit matched the opposing players.

I’ve told people this privately but will say it here. The biggest problem when you look at MLS rosters isn’t the usage of allocation money. It’s the fact that the max budget charge is capped at a certain amount and your average annual budget charge can’t exceed it year after year

Most European coaches prefer to travel in packs from stop to stop. Meet some of the coaches who very well could be accompanying Marti Cifuentes to Portland. #RCTID Make this known: This is purely based on who Cifuentes has worked with at previous stops. All speculation and guesswork. 🧵⬇️
