🌀 Jul 5 - Jul 11 Forecast 🌀 This week features a slew of soft and spiky moments that trigger memories, reflections, and profound awareness. An ultra-retrograde week, with Mercury eventually ruling the Moon, Venus, and South Node, it feels deeply introspective and a bit surreal at points.

I think a lot of people mistake exhaustion for arrogance or immaturity in others. Fatigue can make you brittle & weary. People will feel this and call it ego, when really it’s burnout. We could all use more rest and compassion.

Full Moon in Capricorn Archetype: 👁️ The Unseen 👁️ "The Spirit, The Ancestor, The Eternal" This card is a repeat from February’s Lunar Eclipse in Virgo reading, so that period (which coincided with Mercury retrograde in Pisces) could hold significance now, with Mercury now stationing Rx in Cancer.

Happy Mercury station day. I just cut through mental self-comparison by saying aloud "How glorious we're all so different." 10/10 it stopped the spiral in its tracks.

I've noticed some creators only seem to create in opposition to their peers. This usually sounds something like "everybody's saying X, but here's what's REALLY true." It's a power move to establish superiority through critique/comparison. The irony is that it hinges entirely on other people's ideas.

Jun 7 - Jun 13 'scope This week features high highs and low lows. The buoyancy of Tuesday’s Venus-Jupiter conjunction is offset by Mercury square Saturn and Venus square Chiron, which could kick up relational insecurities later in the week. If you notice your energy tanking each month when the Moon enters Capricorn, that's worth listening to. The Moon in Cap and Aquarius will answer to a fallen Saturn in Aries through 2028. In other words, roughly 5 days of the month might feel consistently heavier, slower, and more tiring.

On a white blanket background, two tarot cards side by side. 1 - light blue with a circle of colorful eyes in the center and cherubs with bright pink hair and blue wings flying around it. 2 - deep pink with circles of white and black stars dotting the surface and a two naked figures (one top right, one bottom left), their hair long and outstretched.

Holy Moon, we have a lot of lunar transits this week, starting with a big, bright Full Moon in Sagittarius. The comedown feels sharper than usual, as the Moon enters Saturn-ruled Capricorn and Aquarius next, where they interact with all the outers and then some.

Sunday's Full Moon in Sagittarius asks us to embrace unknowability in the face of endless information — to stop hunting for answers and start opening to experiences.

Our anchor card of the week, The Magician, is the second card of the Major Arcana, preceded by The Fool — last week’s anchor. This progression feels powerful in light of the transits. Last week’s Uranus/Fool initiation triggers this week’s Mercury/Magician action. We’re ready to make shit happen.

I hope Neptune + Saturn in Aries, for the U.S., is a radical humbling. A waking-up to just how young & immature it truly is. A realization that it’s not the big shot who’s got it all figured out — it’s the self-obsessed youth at the party shouting their “accomplishments” to a room full of elders.

People are right to be incensed, but there are more names to uplift. ICE killed an immigrant man named Silverio Villegas González in Chicagoland. He had children. Victor Manuel Diaz was kidnapped in Minneapolis and died in ICE custody on January 14. Their names deserve to be repeated, too.

Witches, would be cool if we laid some extra protection on Minneapolis through Tuesday especially. This Mars-Pluto conjunction does not play but it could go in different directions — escalation of militant force, yes, but also rapid increase in people power.

This is a good moment for white people or folks who’ve been sheltered from police violence to really interrogate their fear of death. The more we come to terms with the risk and potential sacrifice of showing up, the more effective we become.

One thing that irks me: people keep calling the folks on the streets in Minneapolis protestors. They are not generally there to protest, they are there to observe and document. This is the product of organizing and mutual aid. It is telling that these acts of citizenship are seen as protest!
