This might be a hot take but I want mainline Final Fantasy games to get stuck in time in regards to graphics (13-3/15) just so we can see more frequent mainline releases FF Resonance could’ve been named XVII and I wouldn’t have complained at all

Have people realized Denji is actually a compulsive gambler with power and adrenaline and pochita was a unlimited pass for it or not The ending was fine, part 2’s weaker “everything” past the strong start was the problem

& random thought as someone who only played RE1 DS (not to completion but close as Jill ) and none of the others in the OG trilogy, I’ve been dozing off to sleep while looking at RE1/2/3 challenge runs and it’s actually sad how much Capcom cut from 2R/3R is structured very differently.

Digital foundry really needs to sit down and think with their own heads at this point, as the first coverage of DLSS5 was clearly a hit piece funded by Nvidia either ideologically or monetarily and the latest video talking about the event makes it clear that they wouldn’t have released it if..

Re9 is a solid game but it loses a lot of the shine because of Leon’s sections tbh, it feels like it was made for people who *loved* the RE4 action Castle/island sections, and Leon is barely hindered or affected by RCS like last plagas affected him throughout 4 Love Grace tho

I don’t like skibidi toilet at all but at this point Michael bay and his company is acting like resident evil villains with dafuqboom, wym they just did a hostile takeover on all of his socials including discord and YouTube

The only nuanced take I have about DLSS 5 is that if they somehow make it run on a rtx 2000/3000 card and it gains perfomance or doesn’t hurt perfomance it’ll be somewhat impressive, but fuck that technology dude lol, DLSS 4.5 is the perfect endpoint

Hi Bsky I haven’t been as active neither here or in game due to personal stuff regarding XIV and other games (and just life in general) here’s a wip of an art that a great artist is gracefully doing, hopefully I’m back soon-ish.

reposting this piece since there are hashtags now— #FFXIV #art #estinien

A digital painting of Estinien Varlineau from FFXIV, seen from behind. He is standing waist-deep in a pool of blood. Above him, the giant red eye
of Nidhogg glows. The text "vengeance incarnate" is written between the two subjects.

If you’re curious, what happened was I started playing my Conjurer again (hop on malboro let’s play), and @lunarni.etheirys.social showed up to make my character serve the hardest any character I’ve ever made has ever served. Cannot thank them enough, check out the cool stuff they do
