in MA there are 7 regional library networks, but also a state-wide network called "Commonwealth Catalog" and it gets shortened to "ComCat". so, many libraries have cat stamps to include on the ComCat slips. a few libraries collected them this year to make displays of all the different stamps!

I had Halloween storytime at the library yesterday and if this isn't the most iconic picture of me 🥰

I, a white woman with long red hair, am standing at the front of a room, holding open a book ("We're Going on a Ghost Hunt"). I'm dressed in a long purple velvet dress with big, draping sleeves, and a witch hat to match. a stuffed Pete the Cat is to the side of me, sitting on top of the felt board. on the smart board on the other side of me, the words to "five little pumpkins" are written out. in the foreground, facing towards me/away from the camera, two children are hugging as they listen to the story. one is dressed as a firefighter and the other is dressed as Snow White.
