Wildfire smoke is definitely the worst thing and even here on the dry side the cost of living is kind of high plus the short, cloud-covered winter days take their toll. Minus the smoke that's all worse on the westside, but I'd still rather live there if I could.

There's also the fact that if we pay more taxes and they go towards public goods like universal healthcare, free/reduced childcare and free/reduced education instead of, say, the military and its forever wars, many people might actually pay less overall despite paying the government more.

So just to be clear, you can say the most vile thing you want to an opponent and get away with it so long as the ref and cameras don't see/hear you and your hands aren't over your mouth, but if you say *anything* with your hand over your mouth it's an automatic red? Makes no sense.
