Since "Shrek" is in the discourse today, let me say that it has one of the best "character overhears a conversation without needed context and draws the wrong conclusion" arcs of any romantic comedy. Most of the time, those plots feel forced, and the character's reaction goes overboard.

I had a regular appointment with my doctor last week, and the long and the short of it is that I need to lose weight, watch what I eat, and exercise more. Today is day 6 of logging everything I eat. I've been staying in the 2000-2500 calorie range every day.

After my wife and I got back from our anniversary trip, we noticed Minnie was pulling out tufts of her hair. We took her to the vet, who found no sign of injury or illness. Probably a habit she started because she missed us. Gave her a shot in case it was an allergy.
