I just landed in #MAD and as usual the luggage takes literally eons to appear on the belt… I think I've been here already 30'. This is not unique to #Madrid, but in #ZRH luggage usually take little to no time to show up. What is the magic / secret sauce in #Zurich?? They just name more personnel?

When we arrived on Sunday there were several wildfires declared and active in El #Bierzo and around creating several smoke columns. Sadly the situation worsened yesterday… Specially related to the #Yeres wildfire that it seems has gone over Las #Medulas already.

propios. Entiendo que RTVE quiera promocionar sus propios contenidos, pero no puedo entenderlo que quiera hacerlo cada 5' minutos, especialmente entre el público infantil. El ratio puede ser hasta de 7'30" a la hora. Por no decir que muchos se repiten y repiten hasta la nausea.

Acabo de poner una queja en a @rtvecom.bsky.social en el defensor de la audiencia. Básicamente por el nivel de anuncios en la plataforma online cuando se están viendo algunos contenidos infantiles de corta duración (~5-10') en los cuales entre capitulo y capitulo se inserta anuncios sobre contenidos

www.reddit.com/r/Switzerlan... There is also a lot of people that are accusing them of a #scam. I don't think they are scam or anything else. It's a legitimate project that seems that is failing. Scaling something like that is not easy and it has a high probability of failing.

#Python is driving me nuts with it's inability to differentiate between: - `NaN` - `NA` - `NULL` They are quite different and for me have different uses in the data stack and even can be key in some context. It's not the same that an operation or a table have a NULL than to have a NA… #datascience

Today is paper collection in our neighborhood in #Zurich. ONLY PAPER. When took out the paper early this morning there were all the rest of the piles but the cardboard. Now seems that some neighbor took out the cardboard, which is not going to be collected. Not the first time I've see this behavior

Others have noted it but I will too: The big reason Bluesky is so hot right now is that the people who add value to social media - the frequent posters in specific fields - are here now, talking to each other and creating the "spectator value" that draws users and attention.
