I just landed in #MAD and as usual the luggage takes literally eons to appear on the belt… I think I've been here already 30'. This is not unique to #Madrid, but in #ZRH luggage usually take little to no time to show up. What is the magic / secret sauce in #Zurich?? They just name more personnel?

I'm starting to hate so much the culture of "only phone" apps…. what is that? it's the culture of quick and dirty stuff. I don't like.

#Python is driving me nuts with it's inability to differentiate between: - `NaN` - `NA` - `NULL` They are quite different and for me have different uses in the data stack and even can be key in some context. It's not the same that an operation or a table have a NULL than to have a NA… #datascience

Seems that the air is unhealthy around here. #Ponferrada #Bierzo I guess the cold humid air doesn't allow the smoke of heating system to rise. Perhaps a more #sustainable heating system, #districtHeating could be put in place (40 years ago) #Spain

People that is in #LinkedIn in Dec 25 posting about profesional stuff… Europeans, so they have the day off. Don't you have a life??? I'm my opinion doing something like that doesn't look good on you. Yeah, you can do the same about me posting here, but I don't feel it's the same.

Today is paper collection in our neighborhood in #Zurich. ONLY PAPER. When took out the paper early this morning there were all the rest of the piles but the cardboard. Now seems that some neighbor took out the cardboard, which is not going to be collected. Not the first time I've see this behavior

I have this weird feeling that people have forgotten that phones can be used also to connect with other people in real time… hearing their voices. No one uses the phone as a phone anymore… #phones #communication

Others have noted it but I will too: The big reason Bluesky is so hot right now is that the people who add value to social media - the frequent posters in specific fields - are here now, talking to each other and creating the "spectator value" that draws users and attention.

I don't know if I'm going to return to social media in the same way I was before. I don't think just a change of platform will fix anything… but happy to see this growing.
