Check out this video with Ludwig @ox.ac.uk’s Xin Lu on the @cancergrand.bsky.social Team ATLAS’s goal to find biomarkers—antibody fingerprints—that predict whether someone might avoid or, conversely, develop cancer and possibly identify treatments for cancer prevention or therapy. bit.ly/3RrNtZM

How do 'super-avoiders’ manage to stay cancer-free? | Team ATLAS
One of the biggest challenges in cancer research is effective cancer prevention. The ATLAS team is exploring how the body’s natural defences may help prevent cancer from developing in the first place. By studying people who avoid cancer despite age, genetics or lifestyle risk factors, researchers hope to uncover what makes these ‘cancer avoiders’ different. The team believes antibodies could hold an important part of the answer. Learn more about ATLAS and follow the team’s progress ➡️ https://www.cancergrandchallenges.org/atlas ATLAS is funded by @CancerResearchUK and the Torrey Coast Foundation through Cancer Grand Challenges.
