I'd like to add to this that the best donation you can give is cash money. Food donations have to be checked for expiration dates or packaging damage, sorted, and stored. Food banks have access to wholesale prices so if you give them $100, they can get what would cost you $200+ to buy yourself.

One of my big fears about weight loss drugs is that at some point, somebody will force me to go on them. The health outcomes on them are uncertain to bad. The average amount of weight you lose is 8-10%. You can never stop taking them.
