at the ER rn chest pain combined with just enough other symptoms that a nurse i talked to said i should come in and get checked out and i don’t wanna mess around with anything heart related hoping for the best just very nervous 😕

seeing everyone at locals the last couple Fridays has been a lifesaver, it’s the only place i’ve really truly been able to distract myself and stop going down the mental rabbit holes the FGC is truly the greatest community in the world and i am eternally grateful to have ended up in it

i’ve barely been sleeping, i’ve been waking up in the middle of the night panicked sometimes and just laying there scared for hours, etc. all during the busiest time of the year at work when i could really use as much rest as possible OCD is relentless and exhausting when it gets bad

yet i’m still on high alert basically 24/7, falling back into my worst habits, constantly trying to figure out what’s wrong with me anytime i feel anything unusual at all, anytime i lose my balance for a split second, anytime something just seems “off” in whatever sense

even if, like the ones i had the past few weeks, everything turns out fine. after multiple visits and tests and everything i’ve been pretty much completely cleared; we’re not sure what *was* happening, but we ruled out all the things i was afraid of, which hypothetically should be what matters

as i’ve likely mentioned at some point i have really severe OCD, and the worst part of it for me manifests as health anxiety, a constant feeling of worry that something is going horribly wrong inside my body, and this makes it extremely difficult for me to handle *actual* health scares

it’s been a month now, and for pretty much entirely unrelated reasons it’s been one of the most difficult months of my life. my mental health that was so much better for a few days at first has been thrown into chaos by some unidentifiable physical health problems, and i’m not quite back to normal

2nd in a big SMS weekly tonight playing mostly Venus, actually went game 5 vs Omni in Venus-Moon too also had a good losers run in VSav, ended up 5th after losing round 1, won a bunch of crazy sets in losers. that game is still a bit much for me but it’s very cool
