1) I'm still sick but I got up and dressed today and made chicken curry. I'm back in bed now on my kids orders (I burst into tears for no reason). I used the mandolin to finely slice three onions. I add them some ghee, mustard seeds and salt to pan covering with a lid.

1) While I finally have hubby's plague I have already made home remedies. Lovingly call "earwax tea" because it is quite bitter. Three parts yarrow, two parts coltsfoot, one part hyssop dried. Mix and steep in boiling water. The elderberry syrup was a bit longer.

1) All about soup. The first was an Asian style with soy sauce and such. I made a stock with a carcass I had in my freezer. With rice wine, light and dark soy sauce, oyster sauce garlic and ginger, as well as a carrot, a stick of celery and half an onion. I cooked it for about a couple of hours.

We've all been ill but hubs has been totally out of action for a week. It is the longest he has been ill in 25 years. I've done my best to nurse him, but soup wasn't cutting it and he got some antibiotics Friday and is just starting to look better. Anyway, I've made some bitchin soups this week.

Why does #stoke-on-trent council just turn up whenever they feel like it? Also three electrical inspections a year seems a lot. I don't mind if they could keep an appointment and turn up when they say they will. We have a ton of repairs for them but they just ghost us then get mad where not in!
