Here's the pile that we brought home today. Gave them a quick rinse. Probably could have gotten away with taking home a lot more, but these were the ones that really grabbed me.

A photo of several large field stones, including several that would qualify as boulders, most of them are smaller though, and there is a small pile of rubble on the right side containing really worn pieces of old terracotta bricks, old pieces of crockery, etc. So it's not just rocks, it has interesting pieces of concrete mixed in as well. The lighting is dull so they don't look very colorful. But there is a nice piece of yellow sandstone, several different chunks of pink/ peach colored granite, a large one with very dramatic, black and white striping, a large one with delicate gray and black striping, it's a nice variety and they are spread out on the ground on top of a thin layer of yellow leaves. They are wet because I've given them an initial rinse to get the dirt off.

I finally got all of my materials gathered, and I felt well enough to clean off my desk and really get started on this egg today. I'll be nesting all posts about this one in this thread, so the person it's for can choose to mute it if they want to.

A whole lot of supplies needed to make a beautiful wintry boutique egg for a friend. You can see two different kinds of vintage silver braid, a thin string of plastic Pearl trim, a couple various plastic rings and cones that look like they are made out of beads, a large filigree circle, a small silver filigree circle, a silver filigree flower shape, a fake Pearl Heart bead, a bag of tiny silver snowflakes, the two halves of the egg, a tiny silver hinge, and a purple and blue oval shaped piece of watercolor look paper

A long, lowboy dresser. It is a lane Pueblo brutalist piece, there are three sets of 3 drawers in this dresser separated by wooden dividers. It is made of solid Walnut, with a very interesting pieced wood facade on each. Just glorious detail and slight color variations of the wood affixed to the front. Triangles, circles, scalloped pieces. Rectangles. They aren't all planed flat, some of them stick out more than others and it's a really wonderful tactile experience

Sorry if I'm being annoying with all the pictures of this when all I did was take some rust off of all of it, and I'm definitely going to take a better picture when it's dark, but this is extremely my shit.

I'm about to take a bath to wash all of the rust off me and see how they work together, but so far, I love it. The rust really pulls the whole thing together, and I moved the smaller lantern to my little side cabinet to spread more light around.

Just soaked it in baking soda water to neutralize the acid. Then it will spend some quality time in front of a fan and get a final rub down to take any remaining residue off, but I don't think I'm going to take any more of the rust off.

One of my favorite things about cartoon colored hair is that if I let it ride long enough between recoloring, my executive function sometimes loops around to really cool results.

It may not feel like it today, but tis the season! They haven't had my go-to pain relief strains in stock for a long time, so I'm giving this a go. I'm just grateful to have a vape that is already labeled and very distinguishable from the rest of them. My own labeling system is not great!

Finch told me I was supposed to have a fancy shower today but I opted for a bath. I felt so silly wanting these lanterns so badly at the time, but they really do make me happy and feel cozy every time I light them up.

One of my favorite spots in River Falls. It's kind of an IYKYK place. I couldn't make the steep climb down or up so here's a photo my kid took.

There is natural rock almost completely up to the bottom of the bridge with only like a 3-ft gap, so you have to duck down under each section of the bridge. The entire underside is covered in graffiti. Large tags, small marker graffiti, lots of this was there 15 years ago

Holy crap, it's #ThingThursday! I've been sitting on this one for about a week. An old friend of mine passed through town last week and very generously gifted me these two baskets that his mother made. Looking forward to finding the perfect spots and uses for them!

I'm really surprised that the red area on mine is so small, for a test that had my number. The second I told them I say bubbler, it sure is weird that the Madison area isn't a stronger red here!

Toward the edge, They get puffier and crispier. This one is overworked and very clearly crusted with the kind of caramelized cinnamon sugar.

I love watching Roger explore the changes to his habitat when I change it up. The cholla is much sturdier this time, you can see him checking it and testing it by trying to wiggle it with his claws before trusting it.
