Watching people react to their favourite character get announced in Smash is such joy. It legit makes me cry happy tears, and I semi regularly go back to old reveals for that.

Oh for fuck’s sake. Capcom’s been one of the few “AAA” companies to retain some creative pride over the last ten years. That ended the second they decided to create a plagiarism engine. What a deep, deep shame.

I feel guilty for a lot of things in life But curling into a ball and not doing anything helps no one So we move, slowly, but we move

Small pet peeve I have is when Pokémon creators use base power wrong. Like all the math and stuff us wrong, but after you add stat buffs, stab, weaknesses, and stuff. The resulting power isn't fucking base! It's like rolling a 10 on a D20, adding bonuses, and calling it a natural 27

I really like Xcom 2, but the supporting cast (and especially the chosen) just can't shut the fuck up It would be one thing if it didn't stop me from doing anything, or they didn't talk so slow. Even with the "Reduce beginner VO" option turned on they just pause everything while I'm trying to murder

My vision has been a bit fucky today, and I realized my right eye struggle to keep whatever I was looking at in focus. It works fine if I close my left eye, but it definitely struggle more. I'm no stranger to my eyes giving up a little when I'm exhausted, but just one of them like this is weird

Having credit card check and stuff like that to verify that you're an adult is pretty much best case scenario for this. Legues better than scanning your face and sending it to palantir or something.

Look, my intention is not to rub it in here, but I've been interested in electric cars for a very long time because I have been blessed with a memory longer than that of a goldfish. My flavor of Midwestern cheap is about stability in costs, not just what's cheap today.

There is one thing that I still appreciate about twitter (I know, I know) And it's the first day of everyone being into a new thing. Petra Parker, the rising popularity of Metroid after Ravenous was revealed. But only the first day. After that the "discourse" starts, and I leave

Replaying Metroid Dread gave me a thought Because I struggle to finish other metroidvanias, even if I absolutely adore them. And it comes down to their size. Don't get me wrong, the sheer size of Hollowknight and Silksong is impressive and immersive. But it makes them hard for me to pick back up
