Some inadequate words about Pac's life and impact. But it's full of lovely gifs, I promise. mithgifs.substack.com/p/where-neve...

Some words on the impossibility of a world without Pac in it

His promo delivery. I loved so much hearing a geordie accent in wrestling first of all and pac's was a voice like no other. He could have voice acted for video game final bosses I think.

I think the thing with pac was how much joy he had in being an absolute fucking gremlin; look at this render from when they'd just recently bagged danielson. Just utter glee. One of my favourite renders of any wrestler ever.

Pac smiling with big wide eyes looking like an unhinged goblin man

On a lighter note I listened to this week's @tunneltalkpod.bsky.social with great anticipation for their thoughts on the strickpage segment. I loved the gradual arc of admitting hangman's haircut and look weren't working for him but turning it into a positive by thanking him for the "friction"

Worlds collide vs all out who cares the far more sickening counter programming is dragongate against shun Skywalker's first njpw singles match :(

Good time to recall that more often than not all out is a painful ppv for hangman. Some of his most haunting career moments: losing to Jericho, Kenny literally dropping him, losing to the elite for trios belts (!) (plus everything after all out '22 that followed him for years) and of course the cage

020

Katie K @lsdandkizuki.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

It's crazy that anyone ever worried that hangman and swerve would get less deranged after reconciling cause what's happened is they've combined the intense smouldering hate obsessed looks they've always given each other with this layer of yearning and heartbreak that is almost sickening to witness

Just showed s1e1 of succession to a friend, an activity I found deeply nostalgic. I can't tell you the number of people I watched that episode of tv with

A detail I like about the good the bad and el guapo is that hangman isn't positioned as the "captain" with a tag team as his sidekicks, the leader is clearly Bandido #aew

This is really messing with me cause mox is one thing but i really thought hangman at least was extremely conventionally attractive. Like to the point that I'm a little embarrassed like oh you think the blond muscly cowboy with huge tits is hot, shocker

I wrote a fanfic fantasy booking the young bucks middle man tournament dreamt up by @tunneltalkpod.bsky.social and I am stupidly proud of it unfortunately

Make your favorite film sound as boring as possible without giving away the title: Some people get stuck waiting at the bank for a long time and then go home

Katie K @lsdandkizuki.bsky.social · 29/08/2026

Ive seen no one saying this at all. Plenty of people complaining about hangman stans however

010

Katie K @lsdandkizuki.bsky.social · 26/08/2026

I was hoping we'd get a few words from hangman to commemorate dolly but I didn't think he would grace us with the return of the playlist 🥹

Katie K @lsdandkizuki.bsky.social · 25/08/2026

Unlike a lot of wrestlers, the young bucks seem smart about their physical and mental wellbeing. They have lots of money, a solid gold legacy and families. They could well decide now is the time to step back before their bodies shatter and *clenches fist* *voice wobbles* good for them they should,

Katie K @lsdandkizuki.bsky.social · 23/08/2026

Just saw someone refer to those fast-paced no sell athletic sequences you get in most young bucks matches "fighting spirit slop" which is 1. A very funny thing to say and 2. Proof we need to retire the word "slop" yesterday.

Idea: casino gauntlet is 5 minutes after mjf, speedball and Andrade enter (Andrade pins max). 39 minute trios gauntlet match at all in #aew

Katie K @lsdandkizuki.bsky.social · 23/08/2026

I didn't start writing an angsty missing scene fic set after this week's dynamiye with will ospreay talking to hangman just for the show to canonically replace that with a pep talk from Nigel McGuinness about doing it for Dear England 😭😭😭 #aew

010

Katie K @lsdandkizuki.bsky.social · 22/08/2026

Oh this is really interesting. I loved that Kenny and ospreay segment because ospreay came across so tragic and insecure and Kenny was just casually digging his fingers into his open wounds with that passive aggressive smile that I was very sympathetic towards will

120

Katie K @lsdandkizuki.bsky.social · 20/08/2026

Guys the belt didn't magically corrupt Kenny okay he's terrified of entropy and death and knows he is fated to have his last run as a champion end after a month at the hands of his literal replacement, and knows that his only hope is using every trick he has to crush will emotionally first.

020

Katie K @lsdandkizuki.bsky.social · 20/08/2026

Oh thank god. It took a while and we had some weird detours but Kenny omega and will ospreay found it #aew

Katie K @lsdandkizuki.bsky.social · 16/08/2026

Okay I'm in the actual arena for it this time now and I definitely would not be able to tell the xenostal nova theme is ai and still don't see how anyone else does 😭 maybe we're cooked

010

Katie K @lsdandkizuki.bsky.social · 15/08/2026

That Kevin and punk back and forth was pretty underwhelming... I guess after all people have done this exact beef with punk too many times and they won't ever actually talk about certain things directly. Also people keep cheering cm punk which isn't fun to watch for me because I loathe him

010

Katie K @lsdandkizuki.bsky.social · 14/08/2026

Looking forward to the next backstage interview/pretape with brodido and hangman where brodido are in the same upbeat good guys cracking jokes vibe they've had from the start but hangman has clearly already been replaced with his shadow self

020

Katie K @lsdandkizuki.bsky.social · 12/08/2026

How are people able to tell the music in dragongate is ai-generated? Admittedly I'm watching at low volume on a not great tv but I also just have no idea what the tells are there other than "it's generic"

100

Katie K @lsdandkizuki.bsky.social · 11/08/2026

I want swerve back soon and I would be happy to see the new day but something about the suggestion I keep seeing that they debut as swerve's heel trios partners so they can feud with hangman/brodido is not sitting right with me

020

Katie K @lsdandkizuki.bsky.social · 10/08/2026

The experience of being into hangman is actually surprisingly similar to being into Kendall Roy from succession. The thing of wondering what will be the thing to make him snap this time and how bad it'll be, in almost gleeful anticipation and then it happens and you're like Well I'm sad now ,

130

Katie K @lsdandkizuki.bsky.social · 08/08/2026

I've been a little busy moving to a new city and only got wifi in my home yesterday so haven't been on the aew stuff as much lately. But I need to say even though I'm late with it hangman looked So beautiful in Mexico and so happy and light hearted with his new team I really missed him.

Will's promo explaining himself associating with the death riders was really strong I thought. He sold the emotional reasoning in a way I didn't necessarily expect from him, by admitting vulnerability and weakness and essentially going Yeah they're a cult and I was drawn in bruv okay

My cowboy always gives me what I want...... But he was nice 😢😢 when I had given up on ospage altogether

Katie K @lsdandkizuki.bsky.social · 29/07/2026

Just moved to a new city and stayed my first night in a hostel and was feeling unmoored and tense so I needed some comfort tv, and ended up going on myaew to watch the first ever dynamite episode. And wow I do actually see the temptation to just watch this whole thing chronologically

100

Katie K @lsdandkizuki.bsky.social · 29/07/2026

I do wish we could get just like one small segment of hangman head bonking and calling him a dumbass for nearly joining the death cult that tried to kill him and that he himself put his neck on the line to overthrow a year ago. And then a hug to show they're cool cause will got no friends now :(

010

Katie K @lsdandkizuki.bsky.social · 29/07/2026

It seems like redemption really was the ppv for me to be too busy moving house to find time to watch besides 3 matches 2 days later

000

Katie K @lsdandkizuki.bsky.social · 16/07/2026

However we could get hangman vs swerve in the c2 finals this year 🤔

020

Katie K @lsdandkizuki.bsky.social · 16/07/2026

We as a community need to stop expecting hangman to be involved in main event segments with Kenny ospreay mjf etc. thats precisely where he isn't going to be going forward, at least for a while

It's been percolating around my head since Saturday and now after listening to Trish and Sarah Im facing up to it. Hangman's not back yet really he was just there for that one promo 😞 he didn't say anything about the spinal nerve issue being fixed

I will say I did feel a piece of me die that I didn't realise was still alive when he said I will never challenge for the all elite wrestling mens world championship ever again.

Guys I fucking love hangman Adam page so much

Watching dynamite live for once on a non-work Thursday morning!! This is fun and relaxing ive just been drinking coffee in my bed watching wrestling while slowly waking up why can't it be like this all the time #aew

120

Katie K @lsdandkizuki.bsky.social · 07/07/2026

I always knew this was the case, but hearing that the "never challenge again" promise was a suggestion from hangman to Tony is even more assurance to me that he's not going to rules lawyer his way into a title shot upon return like so many think. He did it because he wants to do the Cody thing

a lot of people really don't understand that Hangmans stipulation only relies on his word. it's not a company stip. Hangman has to hold himself to it, not MJF or AEW. and breaking the stip will be his heel turn. fantasy booking a way for him to get around the stip would be terrible storytelling.

Katie K @lsdandkizuki.bsky.social · 04/07/2026

My thing as a hangman fan and I can't say how much of it is rational is I really do think he's meant to be a face deep down. I just think part of following this guy as the 'main character' is watching someone trying to do good, and even if he fails or backslides that should be at the core of him
