[AF26] for Krokz :) !!

A white crocodile that looks suspiciously similar to Kazuichi Soda from Dangan Ronpa 2. He is resting his chin on one of his hands and is holding a wrench in the other hand.

A digital sketch of a purple anthro Chinese alligator stegosaurus hybrid lounging on a yellow chair. The background is a reddish square on a light reddish background.

I stumbled into this myself! I’ve been working full time at a smaller print shop for 10 years and the variety of work is enriching and creatively fulfilling on its own without leaving me too exhausted to work on my own personal projects in my spare time

I know it’s not too late for me. I’m just opening up a new chapter of my life, only chapter 2 was kinda just ok and is ending with a clumsy cliffhanger and I have no idea what I’m gonna put in chapter 3. Maybe ch2 was the setup for the ch3 payoff? I do still have a ton of wild unfinished projects…

100

Lriga Rotagilla 🐊 @lriga.bsky.social · 07/07/2025

I hate having to prioritize things, which sucks because I’ve always offset the money I don’t have by trying to build the things I want for cheap... I’m only getting more debilitated, and I don’t even have a long term plan for anything, so I have no idea what my next 10 years will even look like.

100

Lriga Rotagilla 🐊 @lriga.bsky.social · 07/07/2025

But the last 10 years of my life have been so creatively messy and disjointed that I don’t have anything I can directly point to and say “look at everything I accomplished in the last 10 years.” Idk. Turning 30 as a creative and feeling burnt out kinda sucks.

Oh then yeah almost exactly what a tank of gas costs lol

100

Lriga Rotagilla 🐊 @lriga.bsky.social · 03/06/2025

Yeah I get charged more when I go over 1000kw in a month, which happens most months already so my electric kinda expensive :/ I would have to imagine charging stations don’t cost as much but I don’t have any experience with that

100

Lriga Rotagilla 🐊 @lriga.bsky.social · 03/06/2025

I did the math on charging an EV at home and it came out at an operating cost that was basically equivalent to a 35mpg gas car :v I do want an EV at some point though

100

Lriga Rotagilla 🐊 @lriga.bsky.social · 03/06/2025

Tbf I’m trying to figure out what my “dream 3 car garage” is, and my fuck around weekend off-road car is solidly the Juke, I want the Ford Flex to be my utility vehicle/ tow rig and the Kia was (still kinda is) the fuel efficient daily. It doesn’t need to be lifted, just a good cool option

100

Lriga Rotagilla 🐊 @lriga.bsky.social · 03/06/2025

Trust me I did a lot of research, the way modern chassis’s are designed, especially with regards to the Beetles fenders, does not look good if you chop too far into them. I think the Baja bug only worked in the 60s. Honestly the Juke might be the only modern car that delivers “Baja bug”

100

Lriga Rotagilla 🐊 @lriga.bsky.social · 03/06/2025

I liked the Dune when it came out but it seemed like the second I tried to make it any more aggressive than stock, it just stopped working, it’s like something about the new beetles body style just doesn’t work imo

100

Lriga Rotagilla 🐊 @lriga.bsky.social · 03/06/2025

Did you know that would complete the trifecta of lifted car ideas I had when I was looking for my first car? It was between the Juke, Soul and last gen Beetle, and I picked the Juke because it had AWD I had a 3D model for a lifted Beetle but nothing I came up with looked any good 😔

100

Lriga Rotagilla 🐊 @lriga.bsky.social · 03/06/2025

Y’all I think I’m selling this thing as is. Probably not going to get much for it But more importantly what car am I going to replace it with???

Lriga Rotagilla 🐊 @lriga.bsky.social · 03/06/2025

I am literally only $60 in this so far, I probably may never have started on this if I hadn’t suddenly gotten a bunch of free wood and hardware and metal and paint back to back out of absolute nowhere

Kia with a shit ton of free wood completely loading it

I have been planning on building a loft in my apartment since I moved in, I knew it was going to add nearly a whole room worth of extra square footage and it is finally sinking in: This is not the whole loft, this is just the bed frame the queen mattress is going to slot into…

A layout of wooden beams in the shape of a bed frame taking up nearly all the floor space of my honestly fairly decently sized living room

110

Lriga Rotagilla 🐊 @lriga.bsky.social · 01/06/2025

This is in contrast to the Juke, which I beat the shit out of and is 5 years older and has 30,000 more miles on it, has never needed its AC recharged

110

Lriga Rotagilla 🐊 @lriga.bsky.social · 01/06/2025

Haha fuck the Kia’s AC went out :( It may still be my most fuel efficient car but with no reverse and no AC it’s kinda not worth it. Probably never going to buy another Kia again, seems like it’s true the build quality is kind of shitty

210

Lriga Rotagilla 🐊 @lriga.bsky.social · 28/05/2025

The Juke was feeling left out so she can have a little stanky leg as a treat :) Also the Juke is running fine now I think she just had a tummy ache

Like a decade ago I used to dream of making a game where you could just talk to any random NPC and when LLMs started happening I got really excited. But now between AI having such a bad rap and realizing I was just making a “talking simulator” I realized I was just making a game for lonely people :/

I have wanted to make a suit for Lriga for so long but kept getting stuck on exactly how the scales get organized— this paper confirms and adds depth to some of my superficial observations and gives me some good methodology to artistically render more realistic scale patterns

Pencil sketch of Lriga, an anthro alligator. She is sitting casually on a ledge, many different variations of scale patterns are visible across her body.

Caption: I don’t care that my body’s rough and imperfect, you shouldn’t either. -Lriga

Oh I finally sat down to catch up on “the final season” of Beastars only to find out it’s split into 2 parts that aren’t even released yet. Touché Netflix, your false ending was actually a cliffhanger. I gotta go back to watching complete anime released over a decade ago :/
