I have wanted to make a suit for Lriga for so long but kept getting stuck on exactly how the scales get organized— this paper confirms and adds depth to some of my superficial observations and gives me some good methodology to artistically render more realistic scale patterns

Scored a bunch of free lumber and metal railings to start working on the loft in my apartment. Gonna sacrifice my dining room and basically gain a third bedroom with a home office 🤙

An awful lot of 8 foot long plywood, 2x4s and beams somehow fitting all the way into the Kia Soul, spanning the entire length of the inside of the car: from the windscreen, over the fully reclined passenger seat, to the very back of the hatch opening.

Took my ford flex for service and it turns out that it’s not running right because 10k miles ago before I got it, someone botched the install of the timing chain. So now I get to pay for them to tear it down and do it over again. Yippee.

I spent so much more energy creating this ramp and parking on top of it than it would have been to just push my car backwards out of the parking spot at work. (My other two cars both have engine problems and this one doesn’t have reverse gear FML)

My lifted Kia Soul with the front tire on a makeshift wooden ramp so that it can roll backwards out of the parking spot because it burnt out one of the dual clutches, so it does not transmit power in reverse or any of the even number gears. It sucks but is technically my most roadworthy car at the moment.
