So many amazing Gleam talks at @codebeam.bsky.social Europe! Yoshie's talk on safely and cautious adopting Gleam in existing businesses was absolutely brilliant. Really looking forward to the video being published

Got my first ever successful v5 boulder climb! A fun mantle with only 2 holds. Photo below (me for scale)
Me, a grinning white dude in a loose orange tank top, standing in front of a climbing wall. The image is edited to have two holds circled in pink showing the v5 I did. The first one is a jug on a small volume, just within my arm's reach from the ground, and then a small hold at the very top of the wall, about a full body+arm reach from the volume the first hold is on.

Oh my gosh! Gleam got #2 most admired programming language in the Stack Overflow survey! We're on the podium with Rust and Elixir!
Programming, scripting, and markup languages

Rust is yet again the most admired programming language (72%), followed by Gleam (70%), Elixir (66%) and Zig (64%). Gleam is a new addition to the list, and for good reason - developers like it!
Which programming, scripting, and markup languages have you done extensive development work in over the past year, and which do you want to work in over the next year? (If you both worked with the language and want to continue to do so, please check both boxes in that row.)

I travelled to my parents by electric assist bicycle this Christmas. It was really fun and satisfactory practical! Give it a go! Cycling is fantastic for the body and the local community.

I gave blood! It was painless and easy, and I was in-and-out in half an hour. Go do it if you can!

Hell is real, billions burning as you read, you broke the laws of God, but Jesus paid the fine, so repent of all your sins and follow Jesus Christ to be saved from eternal torment.

Come to CodeBEAM and you too can have the Gleam core team's Jak kick your butt at arcade games, even if you team up with a friend against him
A button slapping arcade machine being played be three people at CodeBEAM. Jak's winning. As per usual
