Years ago when artists started not just allowing their work to be called "content" but actually started using that word themselves was an invitation across the threshold

Holding an ink journal (Midori MD grid notebook) in front of a shelf of books with a page showing 2 fountain pen ink swatches and some blurb for Vinta Ink Matinee Rose and Golden Hour.

I haven’t posted my new pens? Nooooo. Erm so only one of these purchases is an intentional one 👀 I also bought more fountain pen inks and started an ink journal 🫠

Holding a TWSBI ECO Fluorite Purple fountain pen in front of a black glass table littered with boxes of ink bottles, a pen case, and journals.

If you only do art for attention and numbers and attach your self-worth to the engagements your creations get, you are going to be miserable for the rest of your life and that is a fucking promise. You will never be satisfied. You will never be happy. It will never click and suddenly be wonderful.

just based on what i have seen from them so far, it's obvious leaflet is made by artists and that makes me so happy 😆 also it feels great to support an app/site that is made me with care and soul and actually listens to their users 👀

Art shouldn’t ever feel rushed or fast. Making art is an EXPERIENCE… a way for YOUR OWN HANDS AND BRAIN to express your own creativity. God i love human-made art. Even if you think your art is “bad,” dont let doubts stop you. just do it cause it’s fun and you’ll learn a lot along the way!

it would be AMAZING if i can also block blogs in the atmosphere 🫩 one of the reasons why i don’t really scroll through to read stuff is that i can’t block the ones i don’t wanna see (i.e. sloppers)

i must not fear The Project

tumblr post by gailynovelry:
"The fastest way to accomplish The Project is to cease being afraid of The Project. The Project cannot maim you. The Project cannot kill you. The Project is more afraid of you than you are of it. It is okay if The Project turns out differently from how it was in your head, and it is okay if it has flaws. You are capable of engaging with The Project."

if traveler’s notebook releases a pretty green leather cover though, i WILL be in danger. that’s what happened to me with the red love & trip 😅 specific colors are everything to me. as for now, i am happy with what i currently have.

what kind of life are you living if you’re out here seeing people who are enjoying things and the first thing you do is say this shit and bring the dark clouds with you? go away man find some happiness 😭

“i don’t get the hype” who says you have to. “i’m not going to spend blah blah” then don’t. ???? you must be sad with your life. find something you’re hyped about instead of being around me while i’m enjoying my thing the fuck

with love, michy 🐈 @lovemichy.neocities.org · 01/09/2026

so i got the weeks and the techo which are the priorities. i ended up not buying any a6 cover 🙂‍↕️ i might just reuse my current cover until it breaks or something that i really like drops next time. tldr; hobonichi day success ✊🏻

the most important to me is the weeks since that is my main planner anyway. but, if i can’t get the a6 cover then it’s fine ☺️ not too excited for this year’s collection but that’s also okay!!!! especially for my wallet lmao

001 0

with love, michy 🐈 @lovemichy.neocities.org · 25/08/2026

as for my a6 cover, still not sure whether to buy a new one or still use my only is not lonely hobonichi green cover. if i can’t get the bordeaux i just might buy the dog & cats from the previous collection.
