iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

I'm not sure what that can tell anyone including myself but Star Wars : Galactic Racer is the first game I've ever played that actively made me think "I kinda wish I had a very big screen to play this on," a thought I don't remember ever having about any game before. I also really enjoy playing it.

Would love some clarity on what exactly the upcoming KH games full collection are getting in terms of technical upgrades on platforms where they're already available for cheaper at 1080p/60fps (and mods available on PC. Like is it just gonna be pushed up to 4k ? Shorter loading times ? Anything ?

Big warning for fellow dungeon crawler enthusiats : this game's made by actual literal neo-nazis and far right weirdos who previously got banned from publishing on Steam due to the visibly hateful and propagandist contents of their previous game.

I haven't played the game yet admittedly but I can't help but feel like the absurd amounts of hate thrown at the new Wolverine game is heavily engineered and actively farmed for content. This looks like a perfectly decent "one-of-those" game in the same way that previous Insomniac games did.

Reminder that Fortnite is AI slop and if the starved-for-content Kingdom Hearts fan that I am can resist going back to that game after they announced the collab so can you

It's very silly to me the way so many people seem in agreement on the "GTA VI will win GOTY at the Game Awards" line of thought. Not because I don't agree there's logic to the rationale, but because it's such a depressing perspective on video games as a medium and as an industry. It's not even out !

Lou💫 @lovelywerewolf.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

I think more video game RPGs that aim for the TTRPG vibe should go the Solasta route and have you create a whole team rather than just one main character and a selection of set companions with pre-existing backstories and defined roles in the narrative.

I think a really neat side KH game would be one where you focus on the Twilight gang and the KH original worlds. Like, you'd explore around the whole Destiny Islands, Twilight Town expanded, a return of Traverse Town and perhaps some version of The World That Never Was, and of course Radiant Garden

My core issue with the Monster Hunter games if I'm being real is that I don't want to play with a big complicated weapon that has modes and transformations and skill rotations I just feel like I'd have a better time if I was just wielding a normal big axe or a a heavy sword and shield or something.

This was an interesting quiz to take as a French person who's never step foot in the US but has been told they could decently pass as someone who has lived there for a while, and I'm assuming these results mostly speak to my media consumption habits and the people I've been interacting with online.

Knight falling out of Love - old but gold reupload with new details [ #art | #oc | #knight ]

Digital painting of knight OC Wreg. He's pulling an arrow out of his chest and blood drips from the wound. There are medicidal plants covering older yet sore arrow wounds near the fresh one. He looks determined and bites his lower lip in pain. Despite everything, Wreg has a hunting horn dangling in his other arm. He's also wearing late medieval armour on his lower body with codpiece that has engraved bunnies and my signature.

Just bought Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 and its entire suite of DLC after watching a video that managed to sell me on a version of the game that I believe only existed in my head and I am here to tell you some games are underappreciated for perfectly good reasons sometimes.

Started watching the tv series From and I sure hope it gets better because that first episode is ROUGH and very shoddily written so far, especially after binging a couple great shows that also dealt with regular folks facing supernatural horror (Widow's Bay and Evil) that had me hooked in minutes.

Disappointed but extremely sadly not surprised because as talented as he is, Amano never struck me as someone with genuine deep convictions and more like the type to be ok with anything as long as he gets paid. And I say this as a fan of his art who owns a signed copy of Fairies and bought Deva Zan.

The fucking "win with no cards in your library" achievement in MTG is so annoying to get, not because it's that hard to win with a self-mill strategy, but because as soon as opponents realize they're gonna lose to a self-mill, they forfeit the game, so you win but without achieving the wincon...

I think platforms like Steam and GOG have the opportunity to do the funniest thing by offering to trade in your digital license for a physical copy of your game (for a reasonable fee since there's a cost to it.) Like, how hard could it be to just have on demand printing of CDs or sell USB sticks ?

This is exactly why digital-only is such bad news for gamers It's 2029 and you want to redownload a game you played a few months ago but WHOOPS, PS6 servers are down so I guess YOU JUST CAN'T. I'm not having a go at EA for the Sony news - it just makes for a very timely example

In a sense we're all warlocks under capitalism. Making deals with malevolent entities (big companies) so that we can have a fraction of their power (salary) as long as we do their bidding (job) and doing everything we can to distanciate ourselves with them and find loopholes so they don't exploit us
